Soccer star Jorginho<\/strong> has publicly called out Chappell Roan<\/strong><\/a> for allegedly accusing his 11-year-old stepdaughter of harassment.<\/p>\n

\u201cI went through a very upsetting situation with my family earlier today. My wife [Cat Cavelli<\/strong>] is in S\u00e3o Paulo for Lollapalooza Brasil,\u201d Jorginho, 34, wrote via Instagram<\/a> on Saturday, March 21. \u201cThis morning, my daughter woke up incredibly excited. She even made a sign because she was so happy to see an artist she really admires, or used to admire.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jorginho (real name Jorge Luiz Frello Filho) did not directly name the child but seemingly was referring to Ada Law, Cavelli\u2019s daughter from a previous relationship with Jude Law<\/strong><\/a>. Jorginho and Cavelli have been in a relationship since 2019.<\/p>\n

The athlete claimed that Cavelli and Ada had an unexpected run-in with one of Roan\u2019s security guards in S\u00e3o Paulo when they were dining at the same hotel. (Roan, 28, is currently in Brazil to headline Saturday night\u2019s Lollapalooza Brasil.)<\/p>\n

\u201cBy coincidence, they\u2019re staying at the same hotel as this artist. During breakfast, the artist walked past their table. My daughter, like any child, recognized her, got excited, and just wanted to make sure it was really her,\u201d Jorginho wrote. \u201cAnd the worst part is she didn\u2019t even approach her. She simply walked past the singer\u2019s table, looked to confirm it was her, smiled, and went back to sit with her mum. She didn\u2019t say anything, didn\u2019t ask for anything.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Jorginho, a \u201clarge security guard\u201d then allegedly approached Cavelli and Ada\u2019s table and \u201cbegan speaking in an extremely aggressive manner to both my wife and my daughter, saying that she shouldn\u2019t allow my daughter to \u2018disrespect\u2019 or \u2018harass\u2019 other people.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHonestly, I don\u2019t know at what point simply walking past a table and looking to see if someone is there can be considered harassment,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The security guard allegedly threatened to \u201cfile a complaint against them with the hotel\u201d while the young girl \u201cwas sitting there in tears.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy daughter was extremely shaken and cried a lot,\u201d Jorginho alleged.<\/p>\n

Jorginho mentioned his own history of fan interactions while suggesting that the 11-year-old did not breach any \u201cboundaries.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve lived with football, public exposure, and well-known people for many years, and I understand very well what respect and boundaries are. What happened there was not that. It was just a child admiring someone,\u201d he claimed. \u201cIt\u2019s sad to see this kind of treatment coming from those who should understand the importance of fans. At the end of the day, they are the ones who build all of this. I sincerely hope this serves as a moment of reflection. No one should have to go through this, especially not a child.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jorginho tagged the Instagram Story with a message to Roan\u2019s fans, writing. \u201cWITHOUT YOUR FANS, YOU WOULD BE NOTHING. AND TO THE FANS, SHE DOES NOT DESERVE YOUR AFFECTION.\u201d<\/p>\n
