\t\t<\/p>\n Barry Keoghan<\/strong><\/a> is sharing how online hate has impacted him.<\/p>\n The 33-year-old actor was on SiriusXM\u2019s The Morning Mash Up<\/em> on Friday (March 20) when he said the \u201cnasty side\u201d of social media has made him pull back from the public eye.<\/p>\n \u201cI think I removed myself from online, but I\u2019m still a curious human being that wants to go on and, if I attend an event or if I go somewhere, you want to see how it was received. And it\u2019s not nice,\u201d Barry<\/strong> said in a clip that was shared via Elite Daily<\/a><\/em>. \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of hate online. It\u2019s becoming a problem,\u201d he admitted. \u201cSo yeah, I don\u2019t have to hide away because I am hiding away. I don\u2019t have to go to places because I actually don\u2019t go to places because of these things. But when that starts leaking into your art, it becomes a problem because then you don\u2019t even want to be on screen anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n Compounding the issue is that Barry<\/strong> feels upset that his son, Brando<\/strong>, 3, will have to read it when he\u2019s older.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is disappointing for the fans, but it\u2019s also disappointing that my little boy has to read all of this stuff when he gets older,\u201d Barry<\/strong> shared.<\/p>\n \n
