Paris Hilton and Carter Reum got married in 2021<\/p>\n
The 45-year-old venture capitalist took to Instagram to assure fans that he and the socialite are “the happiest and best couple” in response to a video clip of Paris turning away from his kiss to pose for photos at the 2024 Grammy Awards.<\/p>\n
Carter penned on the social media site: “Rest assured my wife @parishilton is my one in a trillion and we’re the happiest and best couple. <\/p>\n
“Although I appreciate everyone’s amateur psychology takes as many called out, I just love giving my wife a kiss and she just hates her makeup being smudged on a red carpet.”<\/p>\n
He added: “It’s not that deep everyone, and yes she loves me to death.”<\/p>\n
\nCarter and Paris got married in 2021 and The Simple Life star explained how Carter understands the “real” her.<\/p>\n
\nThe 45-year-old star – who has son Phoenix, three, and daughter London, two, with her spouse – wrote in a blog after their wedding: “I\u2019ve lived a very unique life in the public eye over the last two decades and throughout the years, I was always searching for my partner.<\/p>\n
\n“I was looking for my equal. Someone who wasn\u2019t fascinated with ‘Paris Hilton’ but instead, someone who saw the real me and loved me for me.<\/p>\n
\n“I\u2019m so proud of my love story with Carter, and even more excited that it\u2019s just beginning.”<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, the couple renewed their wedding vows on the Turks and Caicos Islands to mark Valentine’s Day last month.<\/p>\n
\nAlongside some behind-the-scenes photos from their big day, Paris wrote on social media platform X: “Five years later\u2026 and he still makes my heart skip a beat [tears and ring emojis] <\/p>\n
\n“On Valentine\u2019s Day, in the turquoise waters of Turks and Caicos \u2014 just days before my birthday \u2014 my forever Valentine re-proposed, and I said YES all over again.<\/p>\n
\n“But this time, we weren\u2019t just husband and wife. We were Mommy and Daddy. Phoenix and London watching the love that created them [heart emoji]<\/p>\n
\n“Renewing our vows isn\u2019t just about celebrating five beautiful years \u2014 it\u2019s about showing our babies that love grows, deepens, and chooses each other again and again.<\/p>\n
\n“Five years down. Forever to go.<\/p>\n
