blue bloods usweekly<\/a>\u2018s Marcus Scribner<\/strong> explained why he wasn\u2019t necessarily satisfied with the season 1 finale.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t want to say if it\u2019s satisfying or a cliffhanger \u2014 but I was not satisfied because I want more,\u201d Scribner, 26, quipped while speaking exclusively to Us Weekly<\/em>. \u201cI won\u2019t say why, but it was a very interesting ending.\u201d<\/p>\n

Scribner noted the audience will learn<\/a> \u201cmore about\u201d his character, Jonah, before the season comes to an end, adding, \u201cWe get some cool pairings, which is really dope. We switch things up a little bit and [have] some fun guest stars as well, which I know a lot of people are excited for.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite the need for more, Scribner called the upcoming finale<\/a> a \u201cgreat\u201d ending. \u201cIt just left me wanting more,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n

Frank\u2019s father, Henry Reagan (Len Cariou<\/strong>), was also central to the show, alongside Frank\u2019s children: daughter Erin Reagan (Bridget Moynahan<\/strong>) and sons Danny (Donnie Wahlberg<\/strong>) and Jamie Reagan (Will Estes<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

The show aired from 2010 to 2024 before CBS announced a spinoff<\/a>. Wahlberg\u2019s character is at the center of the spinoff, which picks up as the former NYPD officer takes on a position with the Boston Police Department. He is then paired with detective Lena (Sonequa Martin-Green<\/strong>), the eldest daughter of a prominent law enforcement family.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hadn\u2019t watched Blue Bloods prior to joining Boston Blue, but I heard a ton about it from my relatives. It\u2019s been a cultural phenomenon for years and years. I \u2014 of course \u2014 had heard of the show, and then I started to dive into it,\u201d Scribner told Us. \u201cThen getting to know Donnie even further \u2014 and seeing how different he is from Danny Reagan \u2014 is crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cTaking some of those characteristics from Danny Reagan, I was trying to infuse them into my character, Jonah Silver, who is a bit of a hothead like Danny. He goes against the grain to do what he thinks is morally right, which has been very exciting.\u201d<\/p>\n

Joining the Blue Bloods<\/em> universe<\/a> \u2014 and introducing the Silver family \u2014 has allowed Scribner to push himself as an actor.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been very, very interesting. I recently rediscovered myself as an actor. I feel like for a while I was trying to push myself to the side and do something different,\u201d he told Us. \u201cBut it\u2019s been very fun to ground myself in this universe.\u201d<\/p>\n
