She confessed: \u201cThe mom guilt has eaten me alive.\u201d Oh no!<\/p>\n
\u201cChronic illness is all-consuming,\u201d Mikayla lamented. \u201cAnd I haven\u2019t been able to show up as the mom I want to be for the last couple [of] years.\u201d<\/p>\n
She has made references to chronic illness in the past, but avoided getting specific.<\/p>\n
\u201cI just want to feel like myself again,\u201d Mikayla expressed. She then praised mothers in general as her \u201chero.\u201d So sweet!<\/p>\n
\nWhat is CIRS?<\/h2>\n
In another post, Mikayla explained that her chronic illness is Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS).<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ll be sharing more soon about my journey with mold illness, moving out of my house,\u201d she listed.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd,\u201d Mikayla continued, \u201cthe postpartum guilt I struggled with while going through such a massive health flare filming that wasn\u2019t included in the show.\u201d<\/p>\n
She also wrote about how CIRS \u201chas ruined just everything in my body. Nerves, skin, hair, brain, gut, liver, hormones, etc.\u201d<\/p>\n
