Doja Cat enjoys dating<\/p>\n
The 30-year-old rap star won’t reveal the identity of her current partner, but Doja admits that she enjoys the experience of dating.<\/p>\n
Asked if she sees herself as a serial dater, she told Vogue magazine: “Yes. I\u2019m 30, so I\u2019m ovulating and horny.”<\/p>\n
Doja thinks therapy has actually helped her to cope with the challenges of dating.<\/p>\n
The music star – whose real name is Amala Dlamini – explained: “I love when they leave. <\/p>\n
\n“This is what therapy has done for me. It\u2019s allowed me to be away and be at peace without being like, \u2018I need tarot cards. I need an answer. Text me.\u2019 I don\u2019t do any of that anymore. It\u2019s very nice.”<\/p>\n
\nThe Paint the Town Red hitmaker credits therapy for changing her outlook and her approach to life, too.<\/p>\n
\nDoja – who previously dated actor Joseph Quinn – said: “I don\u2019t know what I would\u2019ve done without it or where I\u2019d be without it. I\u2019ve been able to see through a lot of the fog that I couldn\u2019t see through before.”<\/p>\n
\nDoja continues to face challenges in her day-to-day life, but therapy has helped her to understand her own behaviours much better.<\/p>\n
\nThe rap star shared: “I\u2019m not cured of anything. But it helps me understand why I do the things that I do.”<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, Doja previously confessed to becoming more restrained on social media since finding fame.<\/p>\n
\nThe rap star loved using social media before she released her debut album, but she’s now much more cautious about what she says and does.<\/p>\n
\nShe explained: “I would just be yelling at and roasting people, and they would be like, ‘Damn, why are you so mad?’ But then some people would think it was funny and go along with it. That was me back then, and I love going in on people, but I stopped because with a big platform, you don\u2019t want to hurt anybody.<\/p>\n
\n“You have power and you\u2019re looked at a certain way, and if you go in on people and s***, it doesn\u2019t help you or them, and they can tear you down more than you can tear them down.”<\/p>\n
