They have all the same elements\u2014oil, herbs, spices\u2014so Ken\u2019s Northern Italian is a natural fit to marinate <a href=\"https:\/\/food52.com\/blog\/TK%20LINK\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">chicken thighs<\/a>, steaks, vegetables, or just about anything else that you\u2019d want to have soak up some additional flavor pre-cook.<\/p>\n<h3>2. As a finishing glaze for savory baked goods<\/h3>\n<p>There\u2019s nothing better than warm and fresh bread, even in the summer. Some recipes, like this one for <a href=\"https:\/\/food52.com\/recipes\/39087-classic-parker-house-rolls\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Parker House Rolls<\/a>, call for brushing melted butter or oil onto the surface before and after baking. Why not make a quick swap using Ken\u2019s Northern Italian Dressing? The first brush of dressing should hit the rolls when they\u2019re warm to activate those herby aromatics. Or, try adding a bit of Creamy Caesar to a <a href=\"https:\/\/food52.com\/recipes\/54364-bakewell-cream-biscuits\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cream-washed biscuit<\/a> to add even more flavor to the tops of those golden brown biscuits (bonus points if you add some dressing to the biscuit itself).<\/p>\n<h3>3. As dressing for pasta salad or panzanella<\/h3>\n<p>Pasta salad is actually the highest, truest form of salad, in my opinion. The second highest is panzanella, aka bread salad. (You see the trend here, right?) Cold pastas and crunchy croutons are absolutely primed to absorb liquids, so you\u2019d better make each addition count. Add a touch of Northern Italian to the ramp pesto in <a href=\"https:\/\/food52.com\/recipes\/80888-early-summer-panzanella\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this panzanella<\/a> to amplify the herbs, or stir Chunky Blue Cheese into this <a href=\"https:\/\/food52.com\/recipes\/72147-antipasto-orzo-pasta-salad\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Antipasto Orzo Pasta Salad<\/a> for a flavor oomph (not to mention texture).<\/p>\n<h3>4. As a pre-grilling flavor boost<\/h3>\n<p>My best practice when grilling is to always brush everything with a bit of oil before it hits the hot grates to prevent sticking. Of course, this is an excellent opportunity to add a final element to grilled, bready things, too. I recommend sweeping a little <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kensfoods.com\/products\/balsamic-vinaigrette\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Balsamic Vinaigrette<\/a> onto <a href=\"https:\/\/food52.com\/recipes\/29066-hot-dog-and-hamburger-potato-buns\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">potato buns<\/a> or smearing Creamy Caesar onto <a href=\"https:\/\/food52.com\/recipes\/89264-grilled-shrimp-with-garlic-bread\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">garlic bread<\/a> before throwing them on the grill.<\/p>\n<h3>5. As a burger topping<\/h3>\n<p>Lettuce, tomato, charred red onion, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kensfoods.com\/products\/chunky-blue-cheese\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Chunky Blue Cheese Dressing<\/a>: all things that belong on your burgers this summer. Veggie, chicken, or beef patty\u2014blue cheese imparts a bit of funk that plays well with any burger variation.<\/p>\n<h3>6.
