Justin Hartley<\/strong><\/a> couldn\u2019t stop himself from gushing over wife Sofia Pernas<\/strong><\/a> after reaching a major milestone in their marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is hard to believe [we\u2019re celebrating five years],\u201d Hartley, 49, said during the Monday, March 16, episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show<\/em><\/a>. \u201cWe have so much fun together and when you are having fun, time flies.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hartley shared what he loves the most about Pernas, referring to their relationship<\/a> as \u201cblissful.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s gorgeous \u2014 sometimes I just stare at her,\u201d he said. \u201cWe have a lot of fun together. We travel and she teaches me a lot of things.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hartley and Pernas first worked together on The Young and The Restless<\/em> in 2015. Years later, they reconnected in real life and exchanged vows in 2021.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe actually had a justice of the peace come over to the house with a mask on. Sofia and I got out of the pool \u2014 and we had our bathing suits on,\u201d Hartley said on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2024 while recalling their low-key wedding.<\/p>\n

Hartley and Pernas spontaneously decided to tie the knot in the height of the COVID pandemic one year after they started dating.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were like, \u2018We should do this. We should get married! We love each other. This is gonna be amazing,’\u201d Hartley continued. \u201cThen within a week, we were able to coordinate this lawyer to come over and said, \u2018Do you do this?\u2019 And we were like, \u2018Yeah, we love it.\u2019 And we\u2019re married. It was the best wedding in the world because we got right back in the pool. We were like, \u2018Margaritas!’\u201d<\/p>\n

The couple later had a \u201creally small\u201d and intimate wedding ceremony with their loved ones. \u201cI wanted to see her in a wedding dress and she wanted to do it. We had to go through it,\u201d Hartley explained. \u201cIt was amazing, wonderful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hartley previously opened up about knowing Pernas was The One.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cYou meet in different capacities. We didn\u2019t work together that closely [on The Young and The Restless], and we didn\u2019t work together that long. I knew that she was very kind and very nice. I liked being around her. But I was in a different place in my life. I wasn\u2019t available,\u201d Hartley told Haute Living in December 2021. \u201cTiming has a lot to do with that. I\u2019m very lucky to not only have found \u2018The One,\u2019 but I found her when she was available and the timing was right.\u201d<\/p>\n
