\t\t<\/p>\n Hilary Duff<\/strong><\/a> is addressing her canceled series, How I Met Your Father<\/strong><\/a><\/em>. <\/p>\n The 38-year-old actress and \u201cFuture Tripping\u201d singer starred as the lead in the Hulu sequel series as Sophie, before it was canceled in fall 2023<\/a> after two seasons. <\/p>\n In a new interview promoting her new music, she was asked who she thinks the father was. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThat was so sad that we got canceled during the strike. It was horrible,\u201d she said on the latest episode of Mythical Kitchen<\/a><\/em>\u2018s \u201cLast Meal\u201d series. <\/p>\n Hilary<\/strong> then shared her thoughts on who the father of her character\u2019s future child was. <\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s um\u2026 I was gonna say Jason Segal<\/strong>,\u201d who starred in the original How I Met Your Mother<\/em>. Then, she noted, \u201cA lot of people said it was Suraj<\/strong> [Sharma<\/strong>, who played Sid], and I was like whoa, that\u2019s a hot take, because that would be like sleeping with my\u2026 well, actually, I can\u2019t even remember what some of those were about.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know who the father was,\u201d she continued. \u201cI don\u2019t think it was any of the people in the room. It was gonna be like an extra walking by. I know we started the season by being like, \u2018The father of my child is in this room.\u2019 But I don\u2019t think it was any of the main characters. I think as the season progressed, we would have zoomed in on an extra in the background, and it would\u2019ve been that person later in life.\u201d <\/p>\n Hilary<\/strong> then poised, \u201cMaybe Kim Cattrall<\/strong> knows!\u201d <\/p>\n If you recall, Kim<\/strong> played the older version of Hilary<\/strong>\u2018s character narrating the story, much like how Bob Saget<\/strong> voiced the older version of Josh Radnor<\/strong>\u2018s Ted Mosby in the original series. <\/p>\n Also on that episode of Mythical Kitchen<\/em>, Hilary<\/strong> spoke about the challenges of growing up a child star<\/a> in Hollywood and being managed by her mom, Susan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
