Peter Andre opens up about nose job<\/p>\n
The Mysterious Girl hitmaker has opened up about going under the knife to change his hooter, shortly before he shot a music video for his 1997 tune All About Us.<\/p>\n
In an Instagram video entitled This is Something Nobody Knows, he said: “Would you believe 10 days prior to filming the All About Us video I had my first and only ever nose job?<\/p>\n
“When I was doing the video for All About Us it was just when I’d had my nose job and it was just before that video. <\/p>\n
“So literally before I went on I had tape on my nose I had to take off, do the scene, go back and put tape on my nose cause it was only like 10 days after.”<\/p>\n
\nPeter has recalled feeling confident about filming taking place from “all angles” for the music video following his nose job. <\/p>\n
\nHe added: “But I remember feeling so confident when I was wearing the suits and that was because I didn’t have this big nose anymore and I felt comfortable kind of doing all angles.<\/p>\n
\n“There you go.’ “<\/p>\n
\nWhile Peter opened up about his nose job in a This is Something Nobody Knows segment on his social media, he has spoken about such surgery before. <\/p>\n
\nIn 2024, the 53-year-old star told how his nose job was inspired by Robert Downey Jr.<\/p>\n
\nDuring an appearance on Abbey Clancy’s Exhibit A podcast, Peter explained he wanted to have surgery after being bullied at school over his looks. <\/p>\n
\nHe said: “I remember at school in Australia because everyone was really good-looking you know they had really small noses and so of course I’m going to stick out.<\/p>\n
\n“I remember girls that I used to fancy so much and they’d be like urgh look at his nose I remember it all so clearly.<\/p>\n
\n“Obviously as an adult looking back I’m thinking I should have just been proud of it but I couldn’t wait to get to the age where I could do something about it.<\/p>\n
\n“Now I was 24 or 25 it was after [his hit song] ‘Mysterious Girl’, I had my original nose so to speak and it was after that I did it.<\/p>\n
\n“But you’ll notice if you ever see pictures of me back then, I never looked side on if someone took a picture I always had to be front on and I always looked down and I did that because I hated what I saw.<\/p>\n
\n“I took him a picture of Robert Downey Jr in the film ‘Only You’ and Robert Downey Jr was just this freaking handsome guy and he’d always be side profile I’m like I want my nose to look like that so took a picture of it, took it to this doctor could you make me look like Robert Downey Jr.<\/p>\n
\n“[He said] ‘I’m not a magician’ but he said: ‘I’ll tell you what I can make your nose much better’. Now I’m not saying that my nose looks like Robert Downey Jr but what I will say is the minute that operation happened I felt a sense of relief.”<\/p>\n
