Over the last several days, (June 12-14),<a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2023\/06\/12\/reddit-blackout-8000-subreddits-went-dark-protest-api\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> thousands of subreddits have joined in solidarity<\/a> to protest Reddit\u2019s aforementioned API changes, which will potentially shut down many third-party apps.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2023\/06\/14\/twitter-is-being-evicted-from-its-boulder-office-over-unpaid-rent\/?activate-overlay=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Twitter evicted:<\/strong><\/a> Twitter owes three months\u2019 rent to its Boulder, Colo., landlord, and a judge has signed off on evicting the tech giant from its office there, court documents show. Since its <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2023\/05\/25\/elon-musk-twitter-everything-you-need-to-know\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">takeover by Elon Musk<\/a>, Twitter\u2019s business has more or less fallen into disarray, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2023\/04\/10\/ex-twitter-ceo-agrawal-other-execs-sue-firm-over-unpaid-legal-bills\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">there have been numerous reports of unpaid bills<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2023\/06\/09\/carvana-crashes-back-down-to-earth\/?activate-overlay=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Carvana comes crashing down:<\/strong><\/a> Carvana\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2023\/06\/08\/carvana-nirvana-shorted-stock-surges-56-as-company-predicts-record-profits\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">big rally<\/a> is now looking more like a blip on the radar, Harri and Alex write. The company has secured billions in equity and debt financing since launching in 2013, and it\u2019s bought a couple of startups \u2014 namely, <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2018\/04\/17\/carvana-acquires-car360-for-22m-to-improve-its-car-buying-platform\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Car360<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2022\/02\/24\/carvana-buys-adesa-us-auction-business-to-jumpstart-used-car-sales\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Adesa<\/a>. But through it all, the company has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fool.com\/investing\/2023\/05\/06\/no-carvana-isnt-about-to-turn-a-profit\/#:~:text=Gross%20profit%20was%20up%20in,won&#039;t%20be%20in%20Q2.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">yet to record<\/a>\u00a0a real profit.<\/p>\n<p><a style=\"background-color: #ffffff; font-size: 1rem; letter-spacing: -0.1px;\" href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2023\/06\/15\/moveit-clop-mass-hacks-banks-universities\/?activate-overlay=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Ransomware gang lists victims:<\/strong><\/a><span style=\"font-size: 1rem; letter-spacing: -0.1px;\"> Clop, the ransomware gang responsible for exploiting a critical security vulnerability in a popular corporate file transfer tool, has begun listing victims of the mass-hacks, including a number of U.S. banks and universities. The Russia-linked ransomware gang has been exploiting the security flaw in MOVEit Transfer, a tool used by corporations and enterprises to share large files over the internet, since late May.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2023\/06\/14\/google-lens-can-now-search-for-skin-conditions\/?activate-overlay=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Check skin conditions with Google Lens:<\/strong><\/a> Google\u2019s enhancing Google Lens, its computer vision-powered app that brings up information related to the objects it identifies, with a useful new feature. Lens can now surface skin conditions similar to what you might see on your own skin, such as moles and rashes \u2014 working from an uploaded photo.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2023\/06\/13\/nobody-is-happy-with-nycs-18-delivery-worker-minimum-wage\/?activate-overlay=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Minimum wage for NYC delivery workers:<\/strong><\/a> New York City has established a new minimum wage for food delivery workers who deliver for platforms like Uber Eats, DoorDash, Grubhub and Relay. It should be a historic win for gig workers, but Rebecca writes about how both delivery workers and companies are unhappy with it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2023\/06\/13\/youtube-is-lowering-the-barrier-to-be-eligible-for-its-monetization-program\/?activate-overlay=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>YouTube lets more users monetize:<\/strong><\/a> YouTube is lowering the requirements for creators to get access to monetization tools under the YouTube Partner Program (YPP). Specifically, the company is expanding its shopping affiliate program to U.S.-based creators who are already a part of YPP and have more than 20,000 subscribers.<\/p>\n<h2>Audio<\/h2>\n<p>TechCrunch\u2019s podcast collection is the gift that keeps on giving \u2014 although this writer might be a little biased.
