The new Paramount+ series The Madison <\/em><\/strong>just premiered and fans were shocked by something that happened in the first episode.<\/p>\n Michelle Pfeiffer<\/strong><\/a> and Kurt Russell<\/strong><\/a> star in the new series from Yellowstone<\/em> creator Taylor Sheridan<\/strong>. The first three episodes dropped on the streamer on Saturday (March 14) and the final three episodes will arrive next Saturday.<\/p>\n The Madison<\/em> is billed as \u201cSheridan\u2019s most intimate work to date, unfolding across two distinct worlds \u2013 the beautiful landscape of Montana and the vibrant energy of Manhattan \u2013 as it examines the ties that bind families together.\u201d<\/p>\n The show follows the Clyburn family and is \u201ca heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana.\u201d<\/p>\n Also starring are Matthew Fox, Will Arnett, Beau Garrett, Elle Chapman, Patrick J. Adams, Kevin Zegers, Ben Schnetzer, Amiah Miller<\/strong>, and more. <\/p>\n Well, in the series premiere episode, two of those lead characters died. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Kurt Russell and Matthew Fox\u2019s characters are killed in the first episode<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Kurt<\/strong>\u2018s character Preston and his brother Paul, played by Matthew<\/strong>, are killed in a plane crash in the first episode.<\/p>\n That being said, both actors will continue to appear throughout season one in flashback scenes.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cI didn\u2019t expect it to happen so soon,\u201d Kurt<\/strong> told USA Today<\/a><\/em>. \u201cI thought, \u2018How is this love story going to work between two people when you killed (Preston) off in Episode 1?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Matthew<\/strong> joked about being in another plane crash show after rising to fame on Lost. He told The Post<\/a><\/em>, \u201cYeah, I don\u2019t know. I seem to be subconsciously drawn to [plane crashes].
