Sydney Sweeney wasn’t coomfortable with her body when she was younger<\/p>\n
\nThe 28-year-old actress spent her teens wanting to “hide” her body but taking on the role of Cassie in the HBO drama series helped her realise the power of feeling comfortable with herself.<\/p>\n
\nShe told Us Weekly: \u201cI grew up with boobs. I was wearing a 32DD in sixth grade, and I never felt confident.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI never had anything I felt good in, and I just wanted to hide. It wasn\u2019t until [I played] Cassie in Euphoria that I started realising it\u2019s actually powerful to be confident.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cOur bodies are incredible. We should embrace [them] and feel really good in our skin.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nBut after struggling to find underwear that fit her curvy frame, Sydney was inspired to launch her own lingerie brand Syrn.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cI\u2019d always be like, \u2018Oh, this fit doesn\u2019t work. I don\u2019t have the support I want. The straps are digging into my shoulders or it\u2019s kind of itchy and riding up.\u2019<\/p>\n
\n“I started a whole Pinterest board of thousands of photos of inspiration, and I [thought], \u2018I should actually do this.\u2019 And we put it together.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThat\u2019s kind of why I wanted to build all these different worlds. So [women] could honestly choose what they wanted to be [at] the start of the day or the end of the day.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe Housemaid actress previously admitted she longed to have a breast reduction when she was younger but she is “so glad” she didn’t go through with the procedure.<\/p>\n
\nShe told Britain’s Glamour magazine in 2023: \u201cWhen I was in high school, I used to feel uncomfortable about how big my boobs were and I used to say that when I turned 18, I was going to get a boob job to make them smaller.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cAnd my mom told me, \u2018Don\u2019t do it. You\u2019ll regret it in college.\u2019 And I\u2019m so glad I didn\u2019t. I like them. They\u2019re my best friends.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cEverybody\u2019s body is beautiful. When you are confident and you\u2019re happy within is when it really shows to other people.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cOnce I became more confident with myself, [it changed]. I want to show girls that it\u2019s amazing and beautiful and empowering to have the bodies that we have.\u201d<\/p>\n
