\t\t<\/p>\n Kate Hudson<\/strong><\/a> is being celebrated ahead of the Oscars!<\/p>\n The Song Sung Blue<\/em> actress was honored with the Motion Picture Showperson of the Year prize at the 2026 ICG Publicists Awards<\/em><\/strong> on Friday afternoon (March 13) at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif. <\/p>\n \u201cMaking movies is an extraordinary process; it doesn\u2019t end when we wrap,\u201d Kate said while accepting the award (via THR<\/a><\/em>).<\/p>\n She added, \u201cWe are also tasked with bringing that magic to audiences, and publicity is a huge part of that. I\u2019m the showperson and you\u2019re the ship.\u201d <\/p>\n Kate<\/strong> is nominated for Best Actress at this weekend\u2019s Oscars for her work in the Focus Features movie Song Sung Blue<\/em>.
