Doja Cat<\/strong> <\/a>opened up about getting liposuction.<\/p>\n

Doja, 30, got candid about going under the knife<\/a> and a \u201cdisease\u201d that runs in her family. In a clip, which she shared via TikTok<\/a> on Monday, March 9, the singer shared that her mother has lipedema, which is an abnormal fat buildup on the lower body caused by a hormonal imbalance.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I was in my early teens, I started to develop \u2014 I always had a little waist,\u201d Doja explained, noting that she was getting catcalls at her figure. \u201cI had a big butt and a little waist and I always thought, \u2018Damn. What\u2019s wrong with me? Is something wrong with me? Why do people keep gawking at me?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

She went on to say that she \u201cdidn\u2019t like\u201d the attention she was getting and decided to get liposuction<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cFast forward to a few years ago, I got lipo. I got lipo on my thighs, I got it on my hips and above my butt on my lower back,\u201d she said. \u201cI left my butt alone but I got rid of the stuff on my thighs.\u201d Even though she\u2019s not \u201cobsessed\u201d with her ankles, she decided not to get liposuction there or on her knees.<\/p>\n

Doja also noted that she had \u201cno clue\u201d that she had lipedema. \u201cThen my butt was huge,\u201d she laughed. \u201cMy butt was so f***ing big and then I just had these little thighs and I had to go back in because I had way too much ass. It looked like I had a BBL.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnyway, went back in [and] got some out of my butt,\u201d she added. \u201cAnd now I have extra skin. All I know is I\u2019ve been wearing a whole lot of tights on stage,\u201d she joked, noting that she has been wrapping up in layers to \u201ckeep everything together.\u201d<\/p>\n
