We ask for your sensitivity, empathy and love toward her family and friends.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThank you for loving her, supporting her, showing her so much affection, and always welcoming her with open arms,\u201d the statement concluded.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DVySZMQACqJ\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:540px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\"\/>\n<p>Though no official cause of death has been revealed, Reyes \u2014 who had amassed hundreds of millions of followers during her short career \u2014 had been battling cancer in recent months.<\/p>\n<p>Carol first hinted at her health struggles in late December of 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe most difficult chapter of my life will close,\u201d she captioned her New Year\u2019s Eve post.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe year in which I cried the most and suffered the most will come to an end\u2014but also the year in which I learned the most. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cA year that broke me into pieces, but that also taught me how to rebuild myself from zero. I realized that life doesn\u2019t wait, that the people you love won\u2019t always be there, and that sometimes pain is the price of loving truly. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis year showed me how strong I can be, even when I felt like I couldn\u2019t go on anymore. And now, as I say goodbye to this year, I\u2019m not just closing a cycle.
