Gears Of War 4 New York launch event at The Microsoft Loft on October 7, 2016 in New York City.  <span class=\"image-caption-credit\"> (Photo by Ben Gabbe\/Getty Images for Xbox &amp; Gears Of War 4)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>News of his passing comes just one day after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2026\/03\/betty-hixson-cause-of-death-eminems-grandmother-was-87\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the death of Eminem\u2019s grandmother, Betty Hixson<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Across social media today, thousands of hip hop fans are paying tribute to a man who rubbed shoulders with the greats and left an indelible mark on the culture.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSear was one of the greatest people to be around, I will never forget how he made me laugh on our tour together,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Eminem\/status\/2031917675044114886\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Eminem tweeted<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur time on @Shade45 together was always some of my favorite interviews. He made the world a better place and I\u2019m gonna seriously miss that.
