Bristol Palin<\/strong><\/a> is looking into ways to fix her facial paralysis.<\/p>\n

Bristol, 35, who is the daughter of Sarah Palin<\/strong> and Todd Palin<\/strong>, opened up about her medical condition, which started in January 2025, via Instagram on Monday, March 9. \u201cI\u2019m going to have a consultation today with a plastic surgeon in Austin,\u201d she explained. \u201cI\u2019ve read that she specializes in facial paralysis type stuff so we\u2019ll see what she says.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bristol asked for \u201cprayers\u201d because the doctor might be able to help with her eye, which \u201ccloses\u201d when she smiles or is \u201cexpressive.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t really care about my crooked mouth but my eye \u2014 so embarrassing to me,\u201d she said. \u201cI feel like I should wear an eyepatch or something.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBristol Palin has been battling her mysterious facial paralysis for an entire year. \u201cIf anyone\u2019s wondering, today\u2019s Day 323 of my face being paralyzed,\u201d Palin, 35, said in video footage taken last month that she posted to her Instagram Stories on Saturday, January 3. \u201cNot looking great.\u201d She continued, \u201cThis is what it looks like. [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Bristol continued, \u201cIt looks crazy and I just feel like I can\u2019t even smile<\/a> because it just closes. So maybe she can do some Botox or maybe there\u2019s some options with surgery.\u201d Bristol added that the doctor might even be able to help with \u201cthe overall symmetry\u201d of her face.<\/p>\n

The Bristol Palin: Life\u2019s a Tripp<\/em> star added that while she was recently visiting her family<\/a> in Alaska, she met with another specialist who \u201cdoes all of [her] nerve blocks to help with [her] face.\u201d<\/p>\n

Following her appointment, Bristol said that it \u201cwent well\u201d and she would share more updates \u201clater.\u201d<\/p>\n

In January 2025, Bristol detailed how her facial paralysis started with \u201ca little weird sensation.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy mouth was pulling this way and it just felt a little off,\u201d she explained. \u201cSo I went, looked in the mirror. I\u2019m like \u2018Wow. This is looking a little weird.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
