Sheryl Underwood<\/strong><\/a> revealed she reached out to former The Talk<\/em><\/a> cohost Sharon Osbourne<\/strong><\/a> in the wake of her husband Ozzy Osbourne<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

During a Tuesday, March 10, appearance on The View<\/em><\/a> that addressed the heated 2021 clash between Underwood, 62, and Sharon, 73, on The Talk<\/em>, Underwood explained why she tried to make recent contact.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will say this. I still believe there\u2019s some love between me and Sharon Osbourne. I tried to reach out when Ozzy passed,\u201d Underwood said. \u201cI love her. Sometimes you find out, your coworkers, your colleagues \u2026 you hope that it doesn\u2019t get as big. I\u2019m going to be honest with you, you don\u2019t sit next to somebody for that amount of time and don\u2019t have no love.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ozzy died<\/a> from a cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease and Parkinson\u2019s disease at age 76 in July 2025.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tOzzy Osbourne was a staunch defender of his wife, Sharon Osbourne, until the end. In the late rocker\u2019s new memoir, Last Rites, the former Black Sabbath frontman wrote about the 2021 controversy that led to Sharon, now 72, leaving The Talk. At the time, Sharon faced criticism for defending her friend Piers Morgan, who\u2019d recently [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Underwood added later that she was \u201cafraid to leave a voicemail\u201d in the wake of Ozzy\u2019s death \u201cbecause in the business we\u2019re in, your voicemail will show up somewhere or be misunderstood.\u201d<\/p>\n

Underwood and Sharon\u2019s 2021 argument, sparked by a disagreement over Meghan Markle<\/strong> claiming she was subjected to racial behavior at the hands of the royal family at the time, was broken down by Underwood and The View<\/em><\/a>\u2019s hosts on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat happened, when you start talking about Meghan Markle, I said to Piers<\/strong> [Morgan<\/strong>] when he came on the show, and to Sharon, \u2018Ya\u2019ll got to get off Meghan Markle.\u2019 We will not let you drag her because her mama is from Windsor Hills. Meghan is in Windsor Palace,\u201d Underwood recalled. (Morgan, 60, was vocally defensive of the royal family at the time and Sharon said publicly that she agreed with him.)<\/p>\n

Underwood continued, \u201cI sat next to her [Sharon] for years and I do believe that when she\u2019s hurt, she\u2019s really hurt and maybe there\u2019s some things that both of us could\u2019ve done differently. I believe that what really happened to me, I had gotten into a couple of problem discussions on The Talk<\/em> \u2026 and God let me live to correct some of the things that I said.\u201d<\/p>\n
