Jackson and his wife, Sandi Jackson, are expected to plead guilty to federal charges after being accused of spending more than $750,000 in campaign funds to purchase luxury items, memorabilia and other goods.  <span class=\"image-caption-credit\"> (Photo by Win McNamee\/Getty Images)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Over the weekend, Jackson addressed a crowd at the Chicago headquarters of Rainbow Push Coalition, an organization founded by his father.<\/p>\n<p>He began by accusing the former presidents of pretending that they had been on intimate terms with his father.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYesterday I listened for several hours of three United States presidents who do not know Jesse Jackson,\u201d the younger Jackson said (via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/jesse-jackson-jr-rebukes-obama-clinton-biden-not-truly-knowing-his-father-during-memorial-service\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fox News<\/a>), adding:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe maintained a tense relationship with the political order, not because the presidents were White or Black, but the demands of our message, the demands of speaking for the least of these \u2014 those who are disinherited, the damned, the dispossessed, the disrespected \u2014 demanded not Democratic or Republican solutions, but demanded a consistent, prophetic voice that at no point in time sold us out as a people,\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><noscript><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"694\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.thehollywoodgossip.com\/uploads\/2026\/03\/GettyImages-51171149-1024x694.jpg\" alt=\"Barack Obama (R), Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate from Illinois, campaigns with U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson, and the life that he lived, to these ongoing services,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCome respectful, and come to say thank you. But these ongoing services are welcome to ALL\u2014Democrat, Republican, liberal, and conservative. Right-wing, left-wing.
