identified as 35-year-old woman after singer&apos;s mansion targeted in horror attack"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"byline\">\n<p>        <time itemprop=\"datePublished\" content=\"2026-03-09\" datetime=\"1773087608\" pubdate=\"\">9 March 2026<\/time>\n    <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.femalefirst.co.uk\/rihanna\/\" class=\"exposure-link \" data-linktrack=\"LinkTracker,articleExposure,rihanna\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rihanna<\/a>\u2019s alleged house shooter has been identified as a 35-year-old woman named Ivanna Ortiz.<\/p>\n<p>                            <\/p>\n<p class=\"image-caption landscape\">Rihanna\u2019s alleged house shooter has been identified as a 35-year-old woman named Ivanna Ortiz<\/p>\n<p>After being arrested on suspicion of firing shots at the Bajan singer\u2019s mansion on Sunday (08.03.26), police told Page Six Ortiz had been taken into custody the same day after gunfire was directed at a home owned by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.femalefirst.co.uk\/rihanna\/\" class=\"exposure-link \" data-linktrack=\"LinkTracker,articleExposure,rihanna\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rihanna<\/a>, 38. <\/p>\n<p>Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department arrested the woman on suspicion of attempted murder following the incident, which took place at the property where <a href=\"https:\/\/www.femalefirst.co.uk\/rihanna\/\" class=\"exposure-link \" data-linktrack=\"LinkTracker,articleExposure,rihanna\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rihanna<\/a> lives with her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, 37, and their three children \u2013 RZA, three, Riot Rose, two, and Rocki Irish Mayers, who is five months old. <\/p>\n<p>Page Six reported authorities said the shooting occurred on Sunday afternoon and that Ortiz is currently being held at the LAPD Metropolitan Detention Center with bail set at $10.25 million.<\/p>\n<p>Police said they responded to reports of gunfire at about 1.21pm on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>\nAccording to dispatch audio cited by the Los Angeles Times, \u201capproximately 10 shots\u201d were fired from a vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>\nAuthorities said the vehicle was described as a white Tesla parked across the street from the property at the time of the incident.<\/p>\n<p>\nA spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department told the California Post one of the bullets struck Rihanna\u2019s residence.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe spokesperson said the round \u201cpierced a wall\u201d of the house.<\/p>\n<p>\nPolice also said the vehicle then left the area, travelling south on Coldwater Canyon Drive after the shots were fired.<\/p>\n<p>\nOfficials said a motive for the shooting has not been determined.<\/p>\n<p>\nRihanna was reportedly inside the home at the time of the incident. <\/p>\n<p>\nA source told People the singer, whose song Disturbia was a hit in 2008, was \u201cokay\u201d following the shooting.<\/p>\n<p>\nIt was not immediately clear whether A$AP Rocky or the couple\u2019s children were present when the incident occurred.<\/p>\n<p>\nPage Six reported Ortiz had previously been arrested in Florida in connection with allegations including careless driving, domestic violence and violating pretrial release conditions.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe shooting follows other security incidents connected to properties owned by Rihanna.<\/p>\n<p>\nIn 2018, a man identified as Eduardo Leon, then aged 27, was arrested after entering another home belonging to Rihanna.<\/p>\n<p>\nAccording to the Los Angeles County District Attorney\u2019s Office, Eduardo entered the residence after climbing over a fence while Rihanna was away.<\/p>\n<p>\nAuthorities said Eduardo remained inside the property for about 12 hours before being discovered by one of Rihanna\u2019s assistants.<\/p>\n<p>\nProsecutors said Eduardo later pleaded no contest to stalking.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe court ordered Eduardo to stay away from Rihanna for 10 years as part of the sentence.<\/p>\n<p><!-- Pagination --><\/p>\n<p><!-- playbuzz --><br \/>\n<!-- end playbuzz--><\/p>\n<p><!-- \n\n<div data-cn-project=\"femalefirst\">\n    \n<\/div>\n\n --><\/p>\n<p><!-- Outbrain { date: 2018\/06\/08 } --><br \/>\n<!-- Outbrain { date: 2018\/06\/08 } --><\/p>\n<p>    <!-- Outbrain { date: 2018\/06\/08 } --><br \/>\n    <!-- Outbrain { date: 2018\/06\/08 } --><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.femalefirst.co.uk\/celebrity\/rihanna-house-shooter-identified-35-year-old-woman-after-singers-mansion-targeted-horror-attack-1438864.html?f=rss\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>9 March 2026 Rihanna\u2019s alleged house shooter has been identified as a 35-year-old woman named Ivanna Ortiz.
