#BoycottRussianSport<\/a> Already 11 countries \u2013 Canada, Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, and Ukraine, together with the EU, are boycotting the Opening Ceremony of the Paralympics-2026 at the official level. <\/p>\n

The Ukrainian team has been banned from wearing uniforms featuring a map of Ukraine at the 2026 Paralympics. The IPC claims the map is “political.”<\/p>\n

At the same time, the Russian team includes former military personnel who participated in the illegal invasion. Russians are\u2026<\/p>\n

There will be no Canadian athletes or officials at the Paralympics Opening Ceremony in Verona \u2014 that includes flag bearers.<\/p>\n

With the Opening Ceremony two hours away from the competition venues and competition the next day, Canada is prioritizing performance over the event.<\/p>\n
