Everyone is also emotionally unavailable. This time, I have standards.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Daytime Emmy winner has adopted an entirely new mindset when it comes to relationships, vowing to put her own needs first.<\/p>\n<p>Jeannie also insisted she won&#8217;t compromise herself for the sake of a man.<\/p>\n<p>\nShe stated: &#8220;I&#8217;m not trying to be chosen. I&#8217;m deciding. I&#8217;m deciding if I like me when I&#8217;m with you. Am I fully me when I&#8217;m with you?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\nThe presenter admitted that it has been some time since she has felt fully herself around a partner.<\/p>\n<p>\nShe explained: &#8220;It&#8217;s been a minute since I let somebody see me fully me. Being in my presence is a privilege.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\nJeannie recently documented a solo date in her vlog as part of her new commitment to self-care.<\/p>\n<p>\nShe said: &#8220;I&#8217;m not shrinking my shine to make someone else comfortable. The most important takeaway is that I will never abandon myself again.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\nMeanwhile, Jeannie has spoken candidly about the toll her divorce took on her, describing the experience as one of the most painful of her life.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe TV star admitted that her split from Jeezy had caused her a lot of anguish, likening the situation to &#8220;experiencing death alive&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>\nJeannie &#8211; who married Jeezy in March 2021, before filing for a divorce in 2023 &#8211; told the Question Everything podcast: &#8220;Divorce is heart-breaking, no matter what. It&#8217;s one of the greatest pains that any human has to endure, honestly.
