However, he\u2019s gearing up for his stint as the Bachelor<\/a> during the show\u2019s forthcoming 27th season.<\/p>\n During the\u00a0Bachelorette<\/em><\/a>\u00a0season 26\u00a0live finale on September 20,\u00a02022,\u00a0host\u00a0Jesse Palmer<\/a>\u00a0introduced viewers to\u00a0Zach as the show\u2019s newest lead<\/a>. \u201cThere\u2019s no words. I\u2019m just taking this in right now,\u201d Zach said when he stepped on stage. \u201cI\u2019m really nervous but this is once in a lifetime. I\u2019ll be ready.\u201d<\/p>\n Weeks prior to his Bachelor announcement, the Anaheim Hills, California, native self-eliminated following his fantasy suite date with Rachel.
