\t\t<\/p>\n Christina Applegate<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about her payday for the movie Anchorman and how the initial offer she received was \u201ca little offensive.\u201d<\/p>\n The actress starred in the 2004 movie as news anchor Veronica Corningstone alongside Will Ferrell<\/strong><\/a> as Ron Burgundy. <\/p>\n While appearing on The View<\/em> this week to promote her new memoir, Christina <\/strong>revealed that Will <\/strong>and director Adam McKay<\/strong><\/a> stepped in to make sure she got paid properly.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWhen they came in with the initial offer, it was, you know, a little offensive,\u201d Christina <\/strong>said. \u201cAnd I said I can\u2019t. I know my worth, and I can\u2019t do that. They wanted me bad enough, and they said, \u2018Well, we\u2019re gonna chip in.\u2019 Thank God they did because it was one of the best experiences of my entire life.\u201d <\/p>\n Christina<\/strong> also opened up about how beneficial the work experience was for her.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was such a lesson. Adam McKay<\/strong> developed an entire new way of doing it with his group.
