This weekend gives us two major studio releases, as Disney\u2019s Hoppers<\/b> is set to bound into theaters alongside The Bride<\/b> from Warner Bros. These films will not have much audience overlap, and Hoppers<\/b> looks to open on top with a stronger critical reception and wider general appeal. As always, there are many other options in theaters, so please read on for alternatives.<\/p>\n
The films listed are from studios other than the \u201cBig Five\u201d – Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros., Walt Disney Pictures, and Columbia Pictures. Note that some of the movies listed are in their first week or two of limited release in the USA, so it may take them a few more weeks (or months) to show up in your local arthouse theater or on VOD.
