The Reagans are a close bunch as seen on Blue Bloods<\/em><\/a>, but that doesn\u2019t mean every character will crossover to Boston Blue<\/em> \u2014 at least on season 1.<\/p>\n Boston Blue<\/em> showrunners previously teased that fans will see \u201cmembers of the Reagan family we have not yet seen\u201d before season\u2019s end, but does that include Danny Reagan\u2019s (Donnie Wahlberg<\/strong><\/a>) brother Jamie Reagan (Will Estes<\/strong>), his wife, Eddie Janko (Vanessa Ray<\/strong><\/a>), and their new baby?<\/p>\n \u201cThere is a non-zero percent chance we will see the baby in Season 1 of Boston Blue<\/em>,\u201d cocreator Brandon Margolis<\/strong> told TV Insider<\/em><\/a> in an interview published on Wednesday, March 4.<\/p>\n A non-zero percent chance by definition means that mathematically it\u2019s possible but highly unlikely.<\/p>\n Margolis teased that he \u201ccannot confirm or deny\u201d that if the baby does show up on Boston Blue<\/em> that both parents would be with them<\/a>.<\/p>\n During the final season of Blue Bloods<\/em>, which came to an end in December 2024<\/a>, Jamie and Eddie revealed they were expecting their first baby. (The couple started as police partners before falling in love and getting married.)<\/p>\n Fans, however, have not met the little one but there is still plenty of time for the trio to pop up on the spinoff now that it\u2019s been renewed for a second season.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat I will say is that because the audiences showed up and the network was generous enough to give us a second season, there\u2019s going to be more opportunities for Reagans for a whole other season, and it\u2019s something we want to continue to pursue on the show,\u201d Margolis explained.<\/p>\n He added: \u201cObviously, there were a lot of them, but the invitations are extended<\/a>, and we are just looking for the right stories to bring them into Danny and Sean\u2019s world. That\u2019s kind of all I can say at the moment without spoiling too much.\u201d<\/p>\n Along with Danny, a detective for the NYPD, and Jamie, a police officer for the city, the Blue Bloods<\/em> cast and family was made up of their father, NYPD Commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck<\/strong><\/a>), and their sister, ADA Erin Reagan (Bridget Moynahan<\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>\n The Reagans\u2019 patriarch, grandpa and former commissioner Henry Reagan (Len Cariou<\/strong>), Erin\u2019s daughter, Nicky (Sami Gayle<\/strong>), and Danny\u2019s two sons, Sean (Andrew Terraciano<\/strong><\/a>) and Jack (Tony Terraciano<\/strong><\/a>), were also heavily featured on the show\u2019s 14 seasons.<\/p>\n In fall 2025, Boston Blue<\/em> premiered, following Danny\u2019s journey from New York to Boston where his youngest son, Sean (now played by Mika Amonsen<\/strong><\/a>), had become a cop. After Sean is injured in a fire, Danny moves to Boston to help him recover and finds himself assisting Sean\u2019s partner, Jonah Silver\u2019s (Marcus Scribner<\/strong>) family with solving crime in Beantown.<\/p>\n
