Kathryn Hahn<\/a> added: “I don\u2019t think any of our notes would be better than Catherine’s\u2026 It\u2019ll just be waste of time.”<\/p>\n\nSpeaking on stage, Seth paid tribute to O’Hara’s “ability to be generous and kind and gracious” without playing down her own talents.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: “I know she would have been honoured to receive this award from her fellow performers, who[m] I know she respected so much. She was such big fans of all of yours.<\/p>\n
\n“I, obviously, have been reflecting on the time I was fortunate enough to spend with her and working with her, and something that I\u2019ve just been marvelling at over the last few weeks was really her ability to be generous and kind and gracious, while never, ever minimising her own talents and her own ability to contribute to the work that we were doing. <\/p>\n
\n“She knew she could destroy, and she wanted to destroy every day on set.”<\/p>\n
\nThe Studio also triumphed in the best comedy series ensemble category, while Seth won best actor in a comedy series for his role in the Hollywood-centered show, which launched on Apple TV almost a year ago, and has been commissioned for a second season.<\/p>\n
\nThe cast cancelled a planned press day last month after O’Hara’s death, while Seth had shared an emotional tribute to her on Instagram.<\/p>\n
\nHe wrote at the time: “Really don\u2019t know what to say\u2026<\/p>\n
\n“I told O\u2019Hara when I first met her I thought she was the funniest person I\u2019d ever had the pleasure of watching on screen.<\/p>\n
\n“Home Alone was the movie that made me want to make movies. Getting to work with her was a true honour.<\/p>\n
\n“She was hysterical, kind, intuitive, generous\u2026 she made me want to make our show good enough to be worthy of her presence in it. This is just devastating.<\/p>\n
\n“We\u2019re all lucky we got to live in a world with her in it. (sic)”<\/p>\n
