The 40-year-old ex-Manchester United ace is at their swanky \u00a320 million pad in Cheshire, North West England, a lot more since the star became a football pundit after he hung up his player boots in 2021 and was manager of Derby County, Birmingham City, DC United and Plymouth Argyle.<\/p>\n
Coleen, 39, told The Sunday Times: “In some ways it\u2019s good, in some ways it\u2019s annoying, because we\u2019ve never had that much time together.”<\/p>\n
The media personality likes to take control and plan everything in a paper diary, but stressed that she and Wayne strive to find the “balance” at home.<\/p>\n
Coleen said: “I like everything in order; he\u2019s a bit more laid-back.” <\/p>\n
\nAsked if she bosses him around, Coleen added: “He would probably say that, but I would say he needs telling sometimes.”<\/p>\n
\nThe star met Wayne when she was aged 12, and they shared their first smooch around the back of a church aged 16.<\/p>\n
\nFormer Everton F.C. midfielder\/attacking midfielder Wayne popped the question in the forecourt of a BP garage in 2003, when he was aged 18, and Coleen was aged 17.<\/p>\n
\nWayne and Coleen got married in a lavish ceremony in Portofino, Italy, five years later, and they went on to welcome sons Kai, 16, Klay, 12, Kit, 10, and Cass, eight, into the world.<\/p>\n
\nAnd Coleen says her and Wayne’s relationship has remained strong as the pair have got older and started a family.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “Obviously, it\u2019s changed with age and children coming on board and career changes. <\/p>\n
\n“You have your ups and downs, you have things that happen in life. But I think being together from a young age, we know each other inside and out. <\/p>\n
\n“We\u2019re a team. So no, I wouldn\u2019t say we\u2019ve changed. I would say things around us have changed.”<\/p>\n
\nThe couple – who have dealt with allegations of infidelity in the past – have recently expanded their brood.<\/p>\n
\nColeen revealed: “My 10-year-old wanted a pet. And then it just developed that he wanted a pig. And you can\u2019t buy one, you\u2019ve got to buy two. <\/p>\n
\n“So now we\u2019ve got a pig pen in the garden. But it\u2019s me that has to shovel up poo. <\/p>\n
\n“But do you know what? I\u2019m getting used to it. I\u2019m getting a bond with these pigs now.”<\/p>\n
