Bridgerton<\/em><\/a> concluded season 4 with tributes for Nicholas Braimbridge<\/strong> and Tony Cooper<\/strong> after their respective deaths.<\/p>\n

The second part of the show returned on Thursday, February 26, with a post-credits scene and a tribute, which read, \u201cIn loving memory of Nicholas Braimbridge, Tony Cooper.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to a GoFundMe campaign created by Bridgerton art director Alison Gartshore<\/strong>, Braimbridge died in May 2025. A cause of death was not specified for Bridgerton<\/em>, who was a scenic artist for Bridgerton<\/em> and its spinoff, Queen Charlotte<\/em>.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cHe was an expert faux finisher well known for his exquisite marbling and wood grain finishes, the knowledge of which was built up over years working with very top end interior designers and latterly within the film and TV industries,\u201d Gartshore wrote via the fundraising page.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBridgerton fans have watched the cast change on and off screen since the series first debuted. The historical drama, which is based on the book series written by Julia Quinn, follows the members of the wealthy Bridgerton family as they search for love in 19th century London. When Bridgerton premiered in 2020, the show centered [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She continued: \u201cI worked closely with Nick and he was an integral part of our Art department team, and was a delightful, charming, funny man \u2014 a true gent. Everyone who met him loved him and we as a team are all very upset by his passing, he will be greatly missed.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cooper, meanwhile, was a unit driver for both Bridgerton<\/em> and Queen Charlotte<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Season 1 of the hit period drama<\/a> debuted in 2020 with Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor<\/strong>) and Simon (Reg\u00e9-Jean Page<\/strong>) as the main focus of the show. The Netflix series, which is based on Julia Quinn<\/strong>\u2018s books, highlighted Anthony\u2019s (Jonathan Bailey<\/strong>) love story with Kate (Simone Ashley<\/strong>) two years later.<\/p>\n

Queen Charlotte<\/em> introduced the young<\/a> Queen Charlotte\u2019s (India Amarteifio<\/strong>) rise to prominence and power after she exchanged vows with King George III (Corey Mylchreest<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

The Netflix series, which premiered in 2020, quickly won over viewers with its grand set pieces and lavish 19th-century aesthetics. The actors, including Phoebe Dynevor, Reg\u00e9-Jean Page, Jonathan Bailey and Nicola Coughlan, were relative newcomers when [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Season 4, meanwhile, explored Benedict\u2019s (Luke Thompson<\/strong>) romance with Sophie (Yerin Ha<\/strong>). Netflix later confirmed that the show will be returning for seasons 5 and 6 with Eloise (Claudia Jessie<\/strong>) and Phillip Crane (Chris Fulton<\/strong>) or Francesca (Hannah Dodd<\/strong>) and Michaela (Masali Baduza<\/strong>) next in line.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are working to try and put the seasons out more quickly, but they do take eight months to film and then they have to be edited and then they have to be dubbed into every language,\u201d Brownell told The Hollywood Reporter in June 2024 about finding time for every member of the Bridgerton family. \u201cThe writing takes a very long time as well, so we\u2019re kind of on a two-year pace. We\u2019re trying to speed up, but somewhere in that range.\u201d<\/p>\n
