The 87-year-old singer is said to have been taken by ambulance for treatment on Friday (27.02.26) morning, and was apparently transported from his residence at about 8am after feeling unwell. <\/p>\n
According to TMZ, who first reported he had been hospitalised, he remains in his ward recovering, although specific details about his condition have not been disclosed. <\/p>\n
A representative for Neil did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Page Six.<\/p>\n
Neil rose to prominence in the late 1950s and 1960s with a string of chart-topping singles, including Breaking Up Is Hard to Do and Calendar Girl. <\/p>\n
\nOver the course of his career, he was nominated for five Grammy awards between 1959 and 1977 and was later inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in recognition of his songwriting achievements.<\/p>\n
