Colton Underwood<\/strong><\/a> revealed if he\u2019s on speaking terms with ex Cassie Randolph<\/strong><\/a> after she filed a restraining order against him.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have no contact. If she ever did reach out or want to reach out, I would be open to answering any questions that her or her family would have for me,\u201d Underwood, 34, told Vanity Fair<\/em><\/a> in an interview published Thursday, February 26. \u201cThat is something I\u2019ve always offered. I\u2019m in no position to really say much more than that or reach out. There\u2019s been no part of me that would. I would always be up for it. It\u2019s all on her terms.\u201d<\/p>\n

Underwood was thrust into the spotlight when he joined Becca Kufrin<\/strong>\u2019s season 14 of The Bachelorette<\/em> in 2018. He later appeared on season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise<\/em> before becoming the season 23 Bachelor in 2019.<\/p>\n

The reality star ended the show dating Randolph<\/a>, 30, but the pair called it quits one year later. Us Weekly<\/em> confirmed in September 2020 that Randolph was granted a restraining order against Underwood after she claimed he was stalking and harassing her. The case was dropped in November 2020, and Underwood came out as gay the following year.<\/p>\n

Underwood fell fast for Olympian Aly Raisman after being set up by a friend. \u201cAly was easy to talk to. She was open, funny, bright, honest, and inquisitive. She laughed easily and had a smile that I would\u2019ve been happy to simply gaze [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While speaking with Vanity Fair<\/em>, Underwood shared more insight<\/a> into his state of mind after the pair\u2019s breakup.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was 2020. It was, as people remember, COVID. I was fully convinced that she was gonna be my last straight \u2026 like, I was going to have to either kill myself or come out. That\u2019s just transparently, like, where my mindset was,\u201d he elaborated. \u201cI don\u2019t know if this is the right phrase, but it was somewhat of the perfect storm of me hitting rock bottom, of me really trying to navigate, \u2018Am I gonna kill myself or am I gonna come out?\u2019 That\u2019s just where I was at.\u201d<\/p>\n

Underwood is now married to husband Jordan C. Brown<\/strong>, with whom he shares 17\u2013month-old son Bishop. Randolph, meanwhile, tied the knot with Brighton Reinhardt<\/strong> last year.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI will always own the mistakes that I made. I will always feel guilt and feel this extreme sadness for how I showed up for certain friends, for people in my life. Also fans \u2014 letting people down,\u201d the former Bachelor continued on Thursday. \u201cAt that point, people had been sort of invested in me and in my story. So I did feel like not only I let myself down, I let a lot of people down there.\u201d<\/p>\n

While reflecting on his life before coming out \u2014 including claims that he was blackmailed about his sexuality \u2014 Underwood said he was \u201cstruggling with Xanax and prescription medications\u201d at the time.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a pretty intense moment in my life where I made some really, really poor decisions. The difficult part now is seeing the people who have a lot to say about what happened six years ago,\u201d he noted. \u201cIt\u2019s lacking a lot of the context of where our world was at, but also where I was at, the state of mind that I was in.\u201d<\/p>\n

Underwood continued: \u201cThe pressures and the threats that I was going through. I will always take accountability. I will always own mistakes that I made. But everything that you\u2019re seeing on social media \u2014 these videos, these people who have a lot to say \u2014 is not correct.\u201d<\/p>\n
