\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Congratulations to Jake Epstein<\/strong><\/a> and Vanessa Smythe<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 they just welcomed their first baby!<\/p>\n The acting couple, who were married in 2018 but have been together for much longer, welcomed a baby boy named Miles<\/strong><\/a> at the end of May.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Jake<\/strong>, who many know from Degrassi<\/em>, revealed the happy news to his fans on Instagram<\/a> this week.<\/p>\n \u201cI wanted to introduce you to our new little guy\u2026This is Miles August Epstein. Born May 25, 2023,\u201d Jake <\/strong>wrote, adding, \u201cI\u2019m in total awe of his mama and how she is transforming into this amazing new mum before my eyes.\u201d<\/p>\n He continued, \u201cHe\u2019s only been on this planet for 18 days and it feels like I\u2019ve landed in this new alternate reality of life. Being a parent. It\u2019s wild. I\u2019m on no sleep but I couldn\u2019t love this little cuddler, music lover and pooper more. Welcome to the world my guy\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n Vanessa<\/strong>, who is best known from The Expanse<\/em> and Mrs. America<\/em>, shared a similar post to her own Instagram feed<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cOn May 25 at 4:59pm, Miles August Epstein was lifted into the world and placed on my chest. We got to be cheek to cheek. Then he got to go to his dad,\u201d she wrote in her announcement. \u201cIt has been only a couple weeks and yet I swear there is a dimension of time that has wrenched open vertically because it feels like he\u2019s been here for ages.\u201d<\/p>\n Vanessa <\/strong>added, \u201cHoly moly what a trip. Thank your parents if they raised you. This kind of love is so consuming and yet I can\u2019t grasp it with words.
