\t\t<\/p>\n Quinn Hughes<\/strong><\/a>, a member of the Men\u2019s US Hockey Team that just won the gold medal at the 2026 Olympics<\/em>, is also speaking out about the Donald Trump<\/strong><\/a> comment.<\/p>\n He, along with his brother Jack Hughes<\/strong><\/a>, went on GMA<\/em><\/a> to discuss the victory \u2013 and the Women\u2019s team was brought up. The US Women\u2019s team also won gold at this Olympic Games.<\/p>\n If you did not see, the 79-year-old POTUS received backlash for his comment about the women\u2019s team in a phone call to the men\u2019s team<\/a> after their gold medal match.<\/p>\n While inviting the men to the State of the Union, he said, \u201cI must tell you, we\u2019re going to have to bring the women\u2019s team. You do know that,\u201d as men\u2019s hockey team members laughed. But, you know, the last couple [times] we\u2019ve done a lot of training with them and got to know a lot of those girls really well.\u201d<\/p>\n About going to the White House<\/a>, he added, \u201cYeah, we\u2019re excited to go. It\u2019s something you don\u2019t get to do\u2014I don\u2019t know what today is\u2014every Tuesday.
