Taylor Sheridan<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s TV universe is expanding with the new series The Madison<\/em>, which will seemingly start off with a major onscreen death.<\/p>\n

Paramount+ released the official trailer on Tuesday, February 24, which introduced the Clyburn family as they weather an unexpected tragedy.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cMemories are like a movie. We can play it over and over to revisit all those times we did have together,\u201d Michelle Pfeiffer<\/strong>\u2018s Stacy says in the sneak peek. \u201cAll the talks, all the laughs and all the hugs.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stacy admits that reliving the best moments is \u201cnot the same\u201d as living in them, adding, \u201cMine is not a family designed to withstand tragedy. \u2026 I\u2019m 65 years old. I have a very small window to feed [my heart].\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tParamount\u2019s Yellowstone is over but the TV universe continues to grow with several long gestating spinoffs \u2014 including The Madison. The popular franchise, which premiered in 2018, introduced viewers to the fictional Dutton family, owners of the largest ranch in Montana. While some viewers came for Kevin Costner\u2018s portrayal of family patriarch John Dutton \u2014 [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Despite Stacy\u2019s concerns about her future, her therapist \u2014 played by Will Arnett<\/strong> \u2014 urges her to \u201chave as much life as you allow yourself.\u201d The death at the center of the series isn\u2019t officially confirmed, although fans of Sheridan\u2019s other shows have shared their theories about how Clyburn patriarch Preston (Kurt Russell<\/strong>) is likely the one to get killed off.<\/p>\n

In addition to Pfeiffer, 67, and Russell, 74, the upcoming series stars Patrick J. Adams, Elle Chapman, Matthew Fox, Beau Garrett, Amiah Miller, Ben Schnetzer<\/strong> and Kevin Zegers. Rebecca Spence, Alaina Pollack<\/strong> and Danielle Vasinova<\/strong> make up the rest of the cast.<\/p>\n

According to the official synopsis, The Madison<\/em> follows the Clyburn family from New York City, who \u201crelocate to the Madison River valley of southwest Montana for emotional recovery following a tragedy that shattered the family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Russell recently praised his time on the show<\/a> in an interview with Entertainment Weekly<\/em>, hinting the series was already renewed and filmed a second season.<\/p>\n

\u201cI really like what The Madison is. It\u2019s a smart show,\u201d he said in January while referring to Sheridan, 55, as a \u201creally good\u201d writer. \u201cTaylor\u2019s excellent, and Michelle is great, and she\u2019s really great in this show. Talking about awards \u2014 I think they\u2019re going to be looking Michelle\u2019s way. They\u2019re all really good, but it is [Sheridan\u2019s] writing that is so compelling.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paramount+ offered a glimpse at the upcoming show in January, which introduced the fictional Clyburn family. After originating from New York City, the Clyburns [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Russell continued: \u201cI think that it\u2019s a very different show for Taylor in that it\u2019s a very female-gaze-oriented show. And I think it\u2019s extremely well written, it was fun to play. It was really fun to do. I just had a good time.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actor credited his busy schedule as the reason The Madison<\/em> filmed two seasons at once.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI did the second season of Monarch [Legacy of Monsters], the Apple TV show, and unfortunately for me, the timing was when Madison came around,\u201d Russell explained. \u201cAnd I said, \u2018There\u2019s just no way to do it,\u2019 because I was working on this show.\u201d<\/p>\n
