The post comes amid fallout regarding her viral \u201ctoxic\u201d mom group essay<\/a>, with Hilary Duff<\/strong><\/a>\u2014who is rumored to be the subject of the piece despite Ashley<\/strong>\u2018s rep denying it<\/a>\u2014becoming the latest celeb to chime in<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI love social media in a lot of ways. It can be inspiring, funny, and a great way to stay connected. Unsurprisingly, those moments are better when I\u2019m not holding my phone at arm\u2019s length trying to look casual.\u201d<\/p>\n Most of all, she says, it is the \u201csheer volume of information\u201d that wears her out.<\/p>\n \u201cYou can open your phone without thinking and suddenly be absorbing outrage and fear, usually without looking for it.
