Below Deck Down Under<\/em><\/a> deckhand Betul Yazici<\/strong> revealed her estranged father was married to three women simultaneously.<\/p>\n

During the Monday, February 23, episode of the hit Bravo series, Betul had a difficult time on deck<\/a> when trying to make sense of everyone\u2019s different accents. She sat down with Captain Jason Chambers<\/strong> to explain why she was struggling.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn my family, I have people around me who always think I am not smart enough to understand,\u201d she explained. \u201cThat voice is always there and I don\u2019t want to drown in those voices.\u201d<\/p>\n

Betul elaborated in a confessional, saying, \u201cGrowing up, the dynamics in my family were not stable. I never felt like I had a father. He was married to three women at the same time and was narcissistic.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBelow Deck and its spinoff series have never failed to bring the drama to Bravo fans everywhere since the franchise launched. The original series premiered in 2013, documenting the daily lives of crew members on luxurious yachts during charter season. With each season, the crew members\u2019 personal lives have begun to cross over into their [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She continued, \u201cMy mom left when I was 9. There was a physical cycle of violence so now I don\u2019t talk to my parents. But I teach myself everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

Season 4 of Below Deck Down Under, which premiered earlier this month, followed Jason back at the helm of the Katina in the Caribbean alongside Ben Robinson, Daisy Kelliher <\/strong>and Jo\u00e3o Franco<\/strong>. Alesia Harris<\/strong>, meanwhile, returned as sous chef alongside new crew stews Joe Caron <\/strong>and Jenna Woudberg<\/strong>, deck\/stew Mike Durrant<\/strong> and deckhands Eddy Hounsell<\/strong> and Betul.<\/p>\n

Jason recently told Us Weekly<\/em> that season 4 was \u201cchallenging for everyone\u201d on board.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone had their own little thing going on. Daisy was joining a new franchise and she had a point to prove. She was coming off a bad season on Sailing Yacht where she wasn\u2019t putting her foot down with some crew. Jo\u00e3o is coming back as a captain and he had to swallow egos and pride to get back on deck and help me out,\u201d he explained. \u201cThen you got Ben, who hasn\u2019t been in this scenario for quite some time. He\u2019s been running his own business.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBravo and Peacock viewers were in for a treat with the premiere of Below Deck Down Under \u2014 with many of the show\u2019s stars leaving a lasting impression. The spinoff series, which debuted in 2022, featured Below Deck Mediterranean alum Aesha Scott. The chief stew joined Captain Jason Chambers and the rest of the group [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Jason continued: \u201cTo pick up the knives and pack his bag after a failed relationship and say yes to being down here in 12 hours and change his life upside down. We were all in something. There was so much tension there. Now I\u2019m looking back and I\u2019m just like, \u2018Wow, we were all in a personal challenge going into it.’\u201d<\/p>\n
