{"id":224594,"date":"2026-02-23T20:00:56","date_gmt":"2026-02-23T20:00:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/entertainment.runfyers.com\/index.php\/2026\/02\/23\/bachelorette-cast-reveal-if-they-will-become-mormon-for-taylor-frankie-paul\/"},"modified":"2026-02-23T20:00:56","modified_gmt":"2026-02-23T20:00:56","slug":"bachelorette-cast-reveal-if-they-will-become-mormon-for-taylor-frankie-paul","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/entertainment.runfyers.com\/index.php\/2026\/02\/23\/bachelorette-cast-reveal-if-they-will-become-mormon-for-taylor-frankie-paul\/","title":{"rendered":"Bachelorette Cast Reveal If They Will Become Mormon for Taylor Frankie Paul"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrities\/taylor-frankie-paul\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Taylor Frankie Paul<\/strong><\/a> has been candid about her religion and spirituality \u2014 she does star on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/shows\/secret-lives-of-mormon-wives\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em><\/a>, after all \u2014 but would her season 22 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/shows\/the-bachelorette\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Bachelorette<\/em><\/a> suitors convert for her?<\/p>\n<p><em>Us Weekly<\/em> exclusively revealed the 22 men vying for Taylor\u2019s affections on Monday, February 23, and asked them to weigh in on whether they would become Mormon and move to Utah to start a life with the reality star (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/entertainment\/news\/who-is-taylor-frankie-paul-secret-lives-star-turned-bachelorette\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">and her three children<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Ahead of the season, Taylor exclusively told <em>Us<\/em> that her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/entertainment\/news\/bachelorette-taylor-frankie-paul-on-mormon-contestants-getting-engaged-excl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">contestants \u201cdon\u2019t have to be Mormon.\u201d<\/a> However, religion is something she wanted to talk about with her suitors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would love to talk to anyone on the subject,\u201d Taylor told <em>Us<\/em> in September 2025. \u201cI\u2019m open to any religion. It doesn\u2019t have to be Mormonism, but I would like to align, obviously, with the same values and morals, and at least someone that does believe in faith and God and whatnot. When you\u2019re raising kids, it does become a factor. I don\u2019t know if it\u2019s a hard thing, because I\u2019m also very open minded, and I want to hear other people\u2019s perspectives, but when it comes down to raising kids, I think that\u2019s where it gets more important \u2014 what we are going to teach them, what we believe in.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Scroll down to see if <em>The Bachelorette<\/em> season 22 men would convert and move to Utah:<\/p>\n<h2>Mike T.<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Mike T<\/strong>., an apparent Jersey native, told <em>Us<\/em> that he would \u201cgive up the Jersey Shore\u201d for Taylor, adding, \u201cSo I believe in God, so I have a firm understanding in that, and I appreciate a woman who also does \u2026 I would move to Utah for Taylor Frankie Paul.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Rod<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Rod<\/strong> noted that he\u2019s \u201copen to the universe\u201d and trusting his next chapter of life. \u201cWherever the path takes me, I\u2019m going. So I\u2019m definitely open to relocating and seeing what you know the future holds. Why not?\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<h2>Aaron<\/h2>\n<p>Relocating is not a question for <strong>Aaron<\/strong>, as he already resides in Utah. \u201cI\u2019m already ahead,\u201d Aaron quipped to <em>Us<\/em>. \u201cI\u2019m just kidding. So yeah, I live in Utah, and I actually am an active Mormon member of The Church of Jesus Christ. So, yeah, it works out just fine.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Lew<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Lew<\/strong> also has a leg up \u2014 literally, he\u2019s 6 foot 9 inches tall \u2014 on the men as a Utah native.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think Utah people just get Utah people,\u201d he told <em>Us<\/em>. \u201cIt\u2019s just a weird thing. I don\u2019t know what it is, but when you find someone that\u2019s also been a part of Utah and understands the Mormon religion, and has been through it, has left the Mormon church \u2014 I\u2019ve left the Mormon church. But I\u2019ve also been in it. I grew up in it. All my friends were in it, they\u2019re still in it. I will say a Utah Mormon is 10 times different than a Mormon outside of the state. I think if you ask anybody from Utah, they would say the same thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Richard<\/h2>\n<p>For <strong>Richard<\/strong>, if Taylor is the \u201cright person\u201d then moving is \u201cnot a question.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think I would do that for anybody that was the right person,\u201d he explained. \u201cI think when it comes to Mormonism, it\u2019s one of those things where \u2014 I did hear in an interview \u2026 that she didn\u2019t read the Mormon Bible, but she read like the Bible of Jesus of the Trinity. And for me, that\u2019s where I stand.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He continued, \u201cMy faith is important to me. It\u2019s everything to me. And being on the same level there is pretty crucial. At first, I was like, \u2018OK, she is a Mormon. That might not fit the groove.\u2019 But then when I read about this, how she thinks about it and kind of her involvement in it, I was like, \u2018Maybe it\u2019s better for me to just come and see for myself and take it from there.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Trenten<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Trenten<\/strong>, who is Christian, told <em>Us<\/em> that he\u2019s \u201cnot converting.\u201d He added, \u201cBut I did hear through the grapevine that she is open as well to other religions. So that\u2019s something that we can discuss when the time comes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When it comes to moving to Utah, Trenten, a track and field athlete, noted that he\u2019s \u201copen\u201d to the idea. \u201cI have to figure some things out, because I\u2019m still a professional athlete, and I\u2019m still competing for team USA, and that\u2019s my destiny and direction going to the LA 2028 games,\u201d he said. \u201cSo that\u2019s still something super important to me, but that\u2019s something that we can ultimately decide and figure out together if we go the distance.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Clayton<\/h2>\n<p>For <strong>Clayton<\/strong>, faith is a \u201chuge part\u201d of his life. \u201cI grew up in a Christian household, and I still have my strong beliefs as well,\u201d he said. \u201cUtah\u2019s a beautiful state. I love snowboarding the mountains. It looks fake, like it looks like something out of a snow globe. It\u2019d be a little bit more of a challenge if she said a random place that wasn\u2019t as pretty. Utah is stunning.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Clayton explained that his work and songwriting allows him to be remotely \u201ca lot of the time,\u201d adding, \u201cSo to be able to do that from home is going to be a huge plus, but definitely open to [it] if this leads to a wife and a family and stuff moving is the last of my concerns.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Christopher<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Christopher<\/strong> admitted that he \u201c[doesn\u2019t] know much about Mormons.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would like to believe that there\u2019s more to them than the stereotype,\u201d he added. \u201cMy open mindedness is going to carry me.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Brandon<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Brandon<\/strong> is \u201ctotally open\u201d to the idea of moving to Utah. \u201cI think it looks beautiful,\u201d he told <em>Us<\/em>. \u201cI\u2019ve never been. I live in Spearfish, South Dakota. It\u2019s pretty especially in the winter time. So I like that type of atmosphere, because I know Utah is like that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Brandon, who is a father of two, noted that he\u2019d have to make sure his children\u2019s mom is \u201ccool with it.\u201d He added, \u201cBut I\u2019m definitely open to it.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Shane<\/h2>\n<p>As a Catholic, <strong>Shane<\/strong> shared that he\u2019s interested in \u201chistory\u201d and \u201ctradition\u201d and would \u201clove to learn a new religion\u201d and beliefs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can go to Utah. I want to go try Swig. I haven\u2019t tried it yet. I want to go give it a go,\u201d he said, noting that he also loves to snowboard. \u201cI also like the cold weather.<\/p>\n<h2>Doug<\/h2>\n<p>Growing up in a Christian household, <strong>Doug<\/strong> told <em>Us<\/em> that he believes in God and thinks he and Taylor will have a \u201cbeautiful connection far beyond just looks and chemistry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe believe in God together,\u201d he said, noting that he lived six years in Idaho. \u201cI\u2019m very used to the mountains, very used to cold temperatures. It\u2019s right there. It\u2019s the border state. I don\u2019t see any issue with moving to Utah. Heck, I might just do it anyway. Taylor no Taylor, I might just move to Utah.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Michael B<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Michael B.<\/strong> shared that he\u2019s \u201cvery spiritual\u201d and lives by certain \u201crules.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m open to someone else\u2019s spirituality and learning about their spirituality and sharing some of mine,\u201d he said, \u201cand it\u2019s all about understanding truth and what that truth means to that person.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Brad<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Brad<\/strong> shared that he had a \u201cpersonal relationship with God changed [his] life\u201d while in high school. \u201c[It] has really changed who I am as a man and has helped me out a lot,\u201d he explained. \u201cMormonism is a little bit different, but we still both pursue a relationship with Jesus. There\u2019s some similarities there. There\u2019s some differences, similarities. I definitely work with it. Like, I\u2019m definitely not closed off to it. Very open minded.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Ronn<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Ronn<\/strong> admitted that religion doesn\u2019t play a \u201chuge part\u201d in his life, but said he\u2019s \u201copen to learning about other people\u2019s religions and learning about what part it plays in her life and being supportive in whatever way [he] can.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Malik<\/h2>\n<p>While <strong>Malik<\/strong> is not Mormon, he explained that he\u2019s \u201ca very like grounded in faith person.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"news-block\">\n<div class=\"newsletter-form  \">\n<div class=\"newsletter-signup__success\" aria-live=\"polite\">\n<h3>Thank You!<\/h3>\n<p>You have successfully subscribed.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m grounded in Christianity, but we still believe in God and Jesus Christ, which is very important to me,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<h2>Conrad<\/h2>\n<p>For <strong>Conrad<\/strong>, a \u201cnon-negotiable\u201d in his childhood was going to church.
