(Another detail is that she was reportedly wearing yellow)<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/DUTyIdrkgEK\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:540px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\"\/>\n<p>Unfortunately, as happens with too many domestic violence calls, responding offers ran into a roadblock.<\/p>\n<p>Neither party was willing to speak to authorities.<\/p>\n<p>There are specific circumstances \u2014 such as when there is a cooperative witness or clear physical evidence of an assault \u2014 when police may be able to arrest an assailant even if the victim is unwilling to cooperate.<\/p>\n<p>(Taking them to trial can be much more difficult, however, which is one small part of how the vast majority of abusers never face justice.)<\/p>\n<p>In this case, they had no cooperating victim, no cooperating witness, and seemingly no other evidence.
