Peter Andre<\/a> – thinks her mum is “crazy”, she just wants her to be happy.<\/p>\nPrincess told The Sun on Sunday newspaper’s Fabulous magazine: \u201cShe\u2019s crazy. But it\u2019s my mum.\u200a.\u200a. I mean, if she\u2019s happy, I\u2019m happy. No, I haven\u2019t met Lee, and, yes, I\u2019ve seen Mum since she got married.\u201d<\/p>\n
Earlier this month, Katie and Peter issued a joint statement in which they agreed to be on amicable terms for the sake of Princess and her 20-year-old brother Junior, and the teenager admitted it is a “relief” that life will be “easier” as a result.<\/p>\n
She said: \u201cI feel really happy that they\u2019ve both agreed to move forward on good terms. For myself and Junior, it\u2019s nice to know that life will be easier for everybody.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt is definitely a relief, and I feel like now as a family, we can all be happy.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt\u2019s also going to be nice to not have people asking me and Junior about our parents\u2019 issues and putting us in the middle. Not everything people see online is true, so hopefully this is a good way to clear up the rumours.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nPrincess faced criticism when the first series of her reality show, The Princess Diaries, featured Peter but not Katie, so this time neither of them will be in the show other than during phone calls.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cObviously, Mum and Dad aren\u2019t in it now because of the backlash we had.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cBut now everyone\u2019s moved on from it and been mature about the situation. It was a mutual agreement from everyone to do it like this.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cBecause it is my own show, they wanted me to do it for myself, but you\u2019ll definitely see my siblings Junior and Harvey. It\u2019s showing me being independent, being my own person and following my own life.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAnd Princess – who has five step-siblings from her parents’ other relationships – is aware people will question Katie and Peter’s absence from the show but she is determined to do things on her own.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cI get that I am known from my parents, and I grew up in the public eye because of them. Even with my reality show, I know people will say: \u2018Why aren\u2019t your parents in it now?\u2019 because they want to see them. But I\u2019ve got my own audience.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI\u2019ve built my own path and my socials by myself. So, as much as people can say that I am a nepo baby, I am also my own person and, as I get older, I\u2019m going to keep doing my own things. I\u2019m going to continue to build by doing things myself.\u201d<\/p>\n
