Garcelle Beauvais<\/strong><\/a> slammed speculation that she is using Ozempic to shed pounds.<\/p>\n After a photo<\/a> of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em><\/a> star, 56, and her costar Sutton Stracke<\/strong><\/a> was shared via the official Bravo Twitter account on Saturday, June 10, one fan questioned whether Beauvais had experimented with the weight loss drug.<\/p>\n \u201cGracelle [sic] has slimmed down quite a bit. Ozempic?? Or healthy eating?\u201d the Twitter user wrote.<\/p>\n The Jamie Foxx Show<\/em> alum shot back<\/a>: \u201cDon\u2019t even start with that ozempic thing I\u2019m not playing with that!!!\u201d<\/p>\n Stracke, 51, supported her costar, commenting, \u201cGettem! \ud83d\ude3d\ud83d\ude3d\ud83d\ude3d\u201d<\/p>\n The fan\u2019s speculation comes after several Bravolebrities have admitted to using the prescription drug \u2014 which is typically used<\/a> to help type 2 diabetes patients with blood sugar \u2014 to slim down.<\/p>\n Shahs of Sunset<\/em><\/a> alum Golnesa \u201cGG\u201d Gharachedaghi<\/strong> <\/a>revealed in a Thursday, June 8, Instagram video that she is taking a break from Ozempic<\/a> injections after the medication caused her to lose more weight than she intended.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I started semaglutide shots, I was 138 pounds. Now, I\u2019m about 110 pounds. As you can see, I\u2019ve lost a little more weight than I was anticipating to lose,\u201d the California native, 41, explained. \u201cI decided I\u2019m only going to weigh myself on the days of my injections just to document it. And on April 30, I got on the scale, and I saw 111 pounds.\u201d<\/p>\n Gharachedaghi previously opened up about using a generic version of the popular drug in February.<\/p>\n \u201cI am on the weight loss shots, honey, OK,\u201d she said via Instagram at the time. \u201cI\u2019m just not going to lie about it because I always keep it real about what is fake.\u201d<\/p>\n Real Housewives of New Jersey<\/em><\/a>\u2019s Dolores Catania<\/strong><\/a> has also been candid about using the controversial weight loss method.<\/p>\n \u201cI wasn\u2019t going to come to the [RHONJ<\/em> Season 13] reunion looking any bigger than anyone else, so I got on the bandwagon<\/a>,\u201d she joked during an April performance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen<\/em>.<\/p>\n After the admission sparked backlash from critics who think the medication should be reserved for diabetics, the former surgical assistant, 52, claimed that she was using Ozempic for medical reasons.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m going through menopause, I have a thyroid issue, I have inflammation and weight is hard to take off,\u201d she explained during an April appearance on Page Six<\/em>\u2019s \u201cVirtual Reali-Tea\u201d podcast. \u201cAnd I work out<\/a>, and I don\u2019t eat crazy, and I was gaining weight, and it\u2019s a lot of different layers.\u201d<\/p>\n Other stars have spoken out about their negative experiences with the medication. During a June appearance on WWHL<\/em>, Amy Schumer<\/strong> <\/a>admitted to trying Ozempic<\/a> one year prior, noting that she found the side effects unmanageable.<\/p>\n \u201cI was one of those people that felt so sick and couldn\u2019t play with my son.
