Taylor Swift<\/a> \u2013 for five years between 2017 and 2022 and when asked about what went wrong in her previous relationship, she appeared to question their timing.<\/p>\nAccording to TMZ, during a TikTok live conversation with Love Island\u2019s Ace Greene, Kayla revealed her last relationship was \u201cprobably, like, three years ago now. It\u2019s been a long time.\u201d<\/p>\n
Greene asked: \u201cWhy did your last relationship not work?\u201d and Kayla replied: \u201cWho knows. [It] could be compatibility issues. Right person, wrong time.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kayla and Travis\u2019 relationship was on and off for five years, after first connecting via social media. <\/p>\n
\nShe shared on Instagram in 2022: \u201cHe had been following me and insta-flirting for a few months.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThey officially called it quits for the last time in May 2022 but she admitted that finding a new man has been difficult.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cIt\u2019s kinda sad because I feel like dating in 2026 is just hard all the way around. I feel like the bar is in hell. So, my new list of requirements is: having a job – that\u2019s at the top of the list.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nWhile Kayla has not yet moved on to a new relationship, Travis and Taylor started dating in 2023.<\/p>\n
\nAlthough Travis\u2019 first attempt to meet Taylor backstage at Arrowhead Stadium during her Eras Tour failed, he shared about the incident on his New Heights podcast, leading to friends setting them up.<\/p>\n
\nAppearing on the podcast last year, Taylor said: \u201cThis podcast has done a lot for me. This podcast got me a boyfriend, since Travis decided to use it as his personal dating app about two years ago.\u201d <\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt was such a wild romantic gesture to just be like, \u2018I WANT TO DATE YOU\u2019. This dude didn\u2019t get a meet and greet, and he\u2019s making it everyone\u2019s problem. That\u2019s what I thought at first.<\/p>\n
\n \u201cYou know he didn\u2019t even reach out to our management. When this podcast came out, I was like, \u2018Did he ever reach out to be in the [VIP] tents, or did we know he was in the building?\u2019 He came with Pat [Mahomes, Travis\u2019 teammate], and he thought that because he knows the elevator lady, he could talk to her about just getting down into my dressing room.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThis felt like I was in an \u201980s, John Hughes movie, and he was just standing outside my window with a boombox, being like, \u2018I want to date you!’\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThis is sort of what I\u2019ve been writing songs about what I\u2019ve wanted to happen to me since I was a teenager.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAnd Travis joked: \u201cAnd I was sitting there at the Eras Tour listening to every single one of those songs, like, \u2018I know what she wants me to do\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
