\u201cThat\u2019s why I\u2019m literally telling you guys to get your Pap smears done. I\u2019m 38 years old. I\u2019ve been struggling with abnormal Pap smears for like, three, four years now,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n
\u201cAnd now look at me, and instead of just, like, putting it off because I didn\u2019t want to go, and it hurt and I was scared, no, I just went and did it, [and] cancer\u2019s in there, and it\u2019s only stage I and it\u2019s curable.\u201d<\/p>\n
Snooki \u2014 who shares children Lorenzo, 13, Giovanna, 11, and Angelo, 6, with husband Jionni LaValle \u2014 grew understandably emotional as the video continued.<\/p>\n
Looking ahead, the MTV personality said she\u2019s next gonna to be transferred to an oncologist and undergo a PET scan to determine if the cancer has spread anywhere else in her body.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, I think the smart choice here is the hysterectomy. I\u2019ll still keep my ovaries, which is a good sign. But yeah, gotta get the cervix and uterus out. It all depends on the PET scan.\u201d<\/p>\n

She said she uploaded this new footage because she wants others to know they aren\u2019t alone\u2026 and she wrapped it up on a positive note.<\/p>\n
\u201cI like that we have a platform here to talk about it with each other,\u201d Snooki continued. \u201cI appreciate all of the love. Everything\u2019s going to be fine. I\u2019m going to tackle this and get it done.<\/p>\n
