Whitney Leavitt<\/strong><\/a> is breaking her silence on Nick Viall<\/strong><\/a> and wife Natalie Joy<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s recent comments about her.<\/p>\n After it was announced that Whitney<\/strong>, 32, would be joining Chicago<\/em> on Broadway, Nick<\/strong>, 45, and Natalie<\/strong>, 27, went on their Viall Files<\/em> podcast and questioned how she could take another job when she has three young kids.<\/p>\n Following their comments, many accused Nick<\/strong> and Natalie <\/strong>of mom-shaming Whitney<\/strong>.<\/p>\n In a new interview published on Thursday (February 19), Whitney<\/strong> reacted to what they said about her.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u201cI didn\u2019t listen to the full episode,\u201d Whitney<\/strong> told The Cut<\/a><\/em>. \u201cI was so confused because I was like, \u2018This feels so left field. Is this because I always say no to your podcast?\u2019 Legitimately, that crossed my mind.\u201d<\/p>\n The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/em> star went on to explain why she didn\u2019t speak out when Nick<\/strong> and Natalie<\/strong>\u2018s comments first made headlines.<\/p>\n \u201cI didn\u2019t wanna respond because sometimes no response is the best response. But that perspective to me is crazy,\u201d Whitney<\/strong> explained. \u201cI would want my mom, my daughter, any woman, to go fulfill her dreams. It seems like such an obvious thing to me. I don\u2019t need to state the obvious. And honestly, the internet did it for them.\u201d<\/p>\n In the December 3 episode of The Viall Files<\/em>, Natalie<\/strong> reacted to Whitney<\/strong> signing on for the Broadway stint after competing on Dancing with the Stars<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cI am curious because, obviously, we had Taylor Frankie Paul being The Bachelorette<\/em>, and she received a lot of criticism for leaving her children and prioritizing her and her career and finding love. I am curious how Whitney is managing both,\u201d said Natalie<\/strong>, who shares 2-year-old daughter River<\/strong> with Nick<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cShe just did Dancing With the Stars<\/em> for three or four months. She has kids on a school level \u2014 maybe they are homeschooled,\u201d Natalie<\/strong> continued. \u201cI don\u2019t know. To shift to Chicago<\/em> in New York, that takes so much of her time. How is she managing being a mom?\u201d<\/p>\n Nick<\/strong>, however, pointed out that Whitney<\/strong>\u2018s husband Conner Leavitt<\/strong><\/a> is a \u201cvery hands-on\u201d dad to their three kids \u2013 Sedona<\/strong>, 6, Liam<\/strong>, 4, and Billy<\/strong>, 15 months.<\/p>\n Natalie<\/strong>, who is currently pregnant with twins<\/a>, related it back to her and Nick<\/strong>\u2018s situation with their daughter, saying, \u201cObviously, we are very busy and are constantly on the go.
