On Monday, June 12, they attended the Hollywood premiere of The Flash<\/em>, walking the red carpet.<\/p>\nThey posed for photos, wearing a white jacket over a cream shirt with an appropriately low neckline. They also wore black dress pants and boots to match.<\/p>\nEzra Miller appeared on the red carpet for the Hollywood premiere of The Flash in June of 2023. They also expressed tratitude to DC Studios\u2019 James Gunn and Peter Safran.<\/p>\n
And they even thanked Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav, a man who does not deserve thanks or praise under any circumstances.<\/p>\n
Truly, Ezra was in a gracious mood \u2014 and feeling grateful to those who stood by them during a prolonged crisis.<\/p>\n\u201cThe Flash\u201d held its Hollywood premiere on June 12, 2023. And in terms of The Flash<\/em>\u2018s premiere, they thanked them for \u201cbringing this moment to fruition.\u201d<\/p>\nAdditionally, Ezra thanked director Andy Muscietti, gushing: \u201cI think you\u2019re amazing, and I think your work is monumental.\u201d<\/p>\nThe Flash\u2019s titular star, played by actor Ezra Miller, is in full uniform during the final trailer ahead of the June 2023 film premiere. Additionally, a lot of people are eager to see Michael Keaton\u2019s return to the cape and cowl. Yes, he, too, will portray a version of Batman.<\/p>\n

No, not confusion. Not really.<\/p>\n
People on social media have been talking about Ezra Miller as if they were Hannibal Lecter. These people have sort of lost the plot.<\/p>\nIlluminated by the azure radiance of the Speed Force, The Flash\u2019s titular hero appears in his civilian clothes. Ezra Miller played multiple versions of this character, following the \u201cFlashpoint\u201d event from DC Comics. (Warner Bros. In 2020, a woman in Iceland approached them with her fists raised. <\/p>\n
Though she intended to playfully suggest fighting, Ezra seemingly took her at her word.<\/p>\n
The video of them taking hold of her neck and throwing her to the ground went viral. And the lack of context made some people liken them to a domestic abuser \u2014 even though this was a bar altercation between two strangers.<\/p>\nActor Ezra Miller portrayed multiple iterations of Barry Allen in The Flash (2023). While the \u201cFlashpoint\u201d story arc is arguably overdone, they did a solid job of telling a new version of the timeline crisis. (Warner Bros. Discovery\/DC Studios)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\nThen, in 2022, the real trouble began. They faced arrest in Hawaii for disorderly conduct and then for harassment.<\/p>\n
The court dismissed the latter charges, but the idea stuck in people\u2019s minds. Later that year, authorities charged them with burglary in Vermont. <\/p>\n
Though Ezra Miller apparently believed that they had permission to enter the residence in question, they clearly did not. They ended up pleading guilty to misdemeanor unlawful trespass.<\/p>\nClassic Batman actor Michael Keaton reprised the role after decades, appearing in The Flash (2023) as an alternate timeline\u2019s version of Bruce Wayne. And, coincidentally, as Batman. (Warner Bros. Discovery\/DC Studios)<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\nThey resolved the legal issues and put out a public apology to their fans. Additionally, they entered treatment.<\/p>\n
So, while multiple bar scuffles (one woman allegedly sustained an injury when they threw a chair \u2014 which is very <\/em>disorderly conduct) are bad, why are people talking about them like they\u2019re The Joker?<\/p>\nWell, a couple of parents accused Ezra of \u201cgrooming\u201d their daughter. Then, a man alleged that Ezra had his young children on their farm! Oh no? She is an adult, and though she does not normally use social media, she posted a public video to debunk her parents\u2019 claims. It sounds like she is just no-contact with them. <\/p>\n
Sometimes, parents want to find some third party to blame. They did reportedly allow a woman \u2014 who was fleeing her alleged abuser \u2014 to <\/p>\n
It is our understanding (though we do not have the full facts of the case) that the man in question raised a stink and got authorities involved. So why are people on social media acting like Ezra Miller is some sort of Law & Order: SVU<\/em> supervillain?<\/p>\nMaybe this is one of those rare QAnon crossover events (like that silly Wayfair hysteria). Maybe part of it is queerphobic backlash. It has been a rough year and a half for the LGBTQ+ community. But there\u2019s more to it.<\/p>\n
A huge part might just be the trends of social media. Not everyone looks at the facts.
