The 53-year-old actress has three kids, Violet, 20, Seraphina, 17, and Samuel, 13, with her ex, fellow Hollywood megastar Ben Affleck<\/a>, 53, but the trio find their mother “embarrassing”. <\/p>\n

When asked on The Jennifer Hudson<\/a> Show what she does to gain “cool points” from her kids, she said: “I am fully cringe. I am only embarrassing.”<\/p>\n

Garner recently asked her offspring if they are planning to watch the second season of her latest Apple TV+ series, The Last Thing He Told Me, but they weren’t keen. <\/p>\n

She added: “I asked my kids if they were going to watch this season of the show [season 2], and they were like, \u2018Do you need us to?\u2019 <\/p>\n

\n“But I mean, kids don\u2019t want to see their parents in … right? <\/p>\n

\n“They don\u2019t want to see us cry, or see us have a romantic scene, or anything. <\/p>\n

\n“We\u2019re just embarrassing.”<\/p>\n

\nHowever, Garner admitted being on Hudson’s show will have landed her some “cool points”, as is starring opposite Game of Thrones actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau – who played Jamie Lannister in the HBO fantasy drama – in The Last Thing He Told Me. <\/p>\n

\nThat\u2019s because Garner admitted her son Samuel is “really into Game of Thrones right now”. <\/p>\n

\nLast month, Jennifer Garner described her kids as “so cool”, but she told how her parenting style has changed since her children stepped into their teenage and adult years. <\/p>\n

\nShe told Marie Claire UK: “Parenting now has shifted. <\/p>\n

\n“It\u2019s more about parenting with a button on my mouth. <\/p>\n

\n“You have to let them grow up and make their choices. You don\u2019t get to control it.”<\/p>\n

\nGarner also told how she is “so proud of how they walk through the world, and proud of them for trying hard”.<\/p>\n

\nBut the star admitted it is “the hardest thing” navigating the spotlight being on her family. <\/p>\n

\nShe said: “Not hard in the grand scheme of what is hard in the world, but tricky for me and tricky for my family.”<\/p>\n
