Love Is Blind<\/em> season 9 star Chris Fusco<\/strong> began to spiral during the second batch of episodes of the Netflix series.<\/p>\n Warning: spoilers ahead for the first nine episodes of Love Is Blind<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n After ending their own relationship in the pods, Chris and Brianna \u201cBri\u201d McNees<\/strong> got engaged<\/a> to Jessica \u201cJess\u201d Barrett<\/strong> and Connor Spies<\/strong>, respectively. While Bri and Connor<\/a> have continued to develop their relationship, Chris confessed to Jess after the trip to Cabo that he was not sexually attracted to her.<\/p>\n During the tough conversation, he noted he was more into his second pod connection \u2014 Bri. As a result, Chris expressed his feelings to Bri during a group hangout at Pins in Columbus, Ohio, attempting to throw Connor under the bus as someone who wasn\u2019t good enough for Bri.<\/p>\n \u201cHe was a good buddy to all of us in the pods. He came to Cabo with us,\u201d Connor told Us Weekly<\/em> in an exclusive interview. \u201cI had a great relationship with him until, like you see, who you thought was a friend use some of the things that you told him in confidence against you to try and win your girl. It\u2019s not usually going to work, especially in this situation, but it brought me and Bri together.\u201d<\/p>\n Things between Connor and Chris, however, are rocky. \u201cI was surprised at the way he tried to do it,\u201d Connor said. \u201cBut it is what it is. We don\u2019t really talk anymore, as you can imagine.\u201d<\/p>\n Bri, for her part, said that her relationship with Connor was over when they ended things before they met IRL.<\/p>\n \u201cThat ship had sailed at the pods,\u201d she told Us<\/em>. \u201cWhen we called it off, it became friendly. And then, at Pins, it was one of those things that we were all taken aback by, like, \u2018Who is this person?\u2019 That just goes to show anyone could show up as anybody in this experiment. It was not only disrespectful toward Jess, but also Connor. They were best friends in the pods, and to see him flip a switch like that \u2026 it was crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n Bri and Brittany Wicker<\/strong> both agreed that the group was all \u201cvery confused\u201d by Chris\u2019 behavior at Pins.<\/p>\n \u201cHe was completely different from who he was in Cabo,\u201d Brittany told Us<\/em>. \u201cWe didn\u2019t understand how he did a complete 180 and was disrespecting both relationships. It was a lot to process of, \u2018Who is this person?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Bri previously gave Us<\/em> insight about Connor being her \u201cNo. 1.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWhat was fantastic is I actually learn[ed] this other side of myself and what I need through Connor and how Connor shows up for me in ways I never knew I needed,\u201d Bri said. \u201c[He broke] down walls that I\u2019ve never been able to break down by myself. That comparison is, kind of, what I\u2019m used to and what\u2019s new to me. He has a really strong grasp of who I am and what I need.\u201d<\/p>\n
