The round was announced on February 12\u00a0and\u00a0included Hanabi Capital, Bain Capital\u00a0Ventures,\u00a0and multiple angel investors.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>Anthropic<\/strong> announced a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2026\/02\/12\/anthropic-raises-another-30-billion-in-series-g-with-a-new-value-of-380-billion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">$30 billion\u00a0Series G funding round<\/a>\u00a0on February 12 that valued the AI research lab at\u00a0$380 billion. More than 30 investors participated\u00a0in the\u00a0round,\u00a0including Founders Fund, Coatue, and Nvidia, among many others.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Media-generation platform\u00a0<strong>Runway\u00a0<\/strong>raised a <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2026\/02\/10\/ai-video-startup-runway-raises-315m-at-5-3b-valuation-eyes-more-capable-world-models\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">$315 million Series E round<\/a> that valued the company at $5.3 billion. This funding was led by General Atlantic and was announced on February 10. Nvidia,\u00a0Fidelity,\u00a0and Felicis also invested, among others.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\"><strong>Goodfire<\/strong>, an AI research lab, announced a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodfire.ai\/blog\/our-series-b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">$150 million Series B round<\/a> on February 5. B Capital led the round with participation from Juniper Ventures, Lightspeed Venture\u00a0Partners,\u00a0and\u00a0Menlo Ventures. The round valued the company at\u00a0$1.25\u00a0billion.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">AI research company\u00a0<strong>Fundamental<\/strong>\u00a0announced a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2026\/02\/05\/fundamental-raises-255-million-series-a-with-a-new-take-on-big-data-analysis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">$255 million Series A round<\/a>\u00a0on February 5. This\u00a0round valued the company at\u00a0$1.4 billion.
