\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Jennifer Lawrence<\/strong><\/a> says she wasn\u2019t planning on working anytime soon.<\/p>\n The 32-year-old actress had her first baby in February 2022<\/a> and was expecting to take it easy.<\/p>\n She had not done a comedy yet, but an opportunity arose for a film, No Hard Feelings<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cI read the script, and it was just too funny. It was the funniest thing I had ever read,\u201d Jennifer<\/strong> said. The movie was inspired by a real-life advertisement which was posted on Craigslist by wealthy helicopter parents who were looking for someone to date their introverted and shy son.<\/p>\n \u201cYeah, about four years ago \u2014 the director\u2019s a good friend of mine. We\u2019ve been friends for a long time. And we were getting dinner, and he showed me the Craigslist ad,\u201d Jennifer<\/strong> told GMA<\/a>. \u201cAnd I just thought it was hilarious, but I in no way thought I was gonna, like, be in the movie or that \u2014 there was no movie. It was just the ad, and we laughed about it. And then four years later, he sent me the script.\u201d<\/p>\n Filming the movie was so funny that Jennifer<\/strong> and the crew would often laugh spontaneously thinking about how the job listing was real. <\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019d be doing certain scenes, and you\u2019d get so focused on the scene that when you, like, zoom out and remember what the movie\u2019s about, it\u2019s just so funny,\u201d Jennifer<\/strong> said. \u201cBut it definitely is \u2014 a jab at the helicopter parents, they\u2019re trying to do what they think is gonna make their son happy and \u2014 bring him out of his shell.\u201d<\/p>\n Jennifer Lawrence<\/strong> looked so classy and chic at the London premiere of her new movie<\/a>, No Hard Feelings<\/em>.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
