Former America\u2019s Next Top Model<\/em> judge Miss J Alexander<\/strong><\/a> suffered a stroke in December of 2022.<\/p>\n The 67-year-old was in the hospital for over a year and could not walk or speak, but he has made great strides and appeared on Netflix\u2019s Reality Check: Inside America\u2019s Next Top Model<\/em> to share his story.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI miss being the queen of the runway, the queen of the catwalk, of course. I spent five weeks in a coma. I couldn\u2019t walk, I couldn\u2019t talk,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was emotional. I cried. I\u2019m not ashamed to say I cried,\u201d he said, adding that fellow judges on the show, Jay Manuel<\/strong><\/a> and Nigel Barker<\/strong><\/a>, visited him while he was hospitalized.<\/p>\n Nigel <\/strong>said, \u201cI don\u2019t know if he wanted me to see him in that way, but I was going to see him. That was such a terrible shock and really upsetting and horrifying and scary.\u201d <\/p>\n Jay <\/strong>then said, \u201cI could feel how upset he was, for sure.
